- Please don't mess this up Ducks...The Anaheim Ducks are finally rebranding, but not in the way you think. I talk about the Ducks rebrand, the redesigning of the original Mighty Ducks logo, and their new jerseys coming soon in this video! The Mighty Ducks logo is being redesigned.

As a life long Ducks fan since DAY 1, the OG logo NEVER needed to be replaced. The design was original and perfect. The "D" Duck foot was never a 1st logo,
it was at best a 2nd shoulder-patch logo. The Ducks have been long due for a rebrand. I have longed for them to go back to the Mighty Ducks logo and colours, but realized years ago that a lot wants the Orange county colors (okay) so fine, keep the colors but give us back our OG logo design.
However, I expected them to use the design with Gold-Black-White-Yellow = No orange in the logo. That felt like a no fit on the 2023 reverse retro jersey.
Ok change the logo and style all they want but how could they not go back to eggplant and jade , once again a total fail by the Samueli's
I would totally be happy with just the logo while keeping the orange since we are in Orange County. Save the eggplant and teal for throwback days/anniversaries!

You should find a video of a duck and her ducklings waddling/swimming around and photoshop team members faces on them heading toward the Stanley Cup. Have Pat Verbeek feeding them bread and then F Seravalli as some dog trying to chase them away

The Ducks have been long due for a rebrand. I have longed for them to go back to the Mighty Ducks logo and colours. I have my doubts about redesigning the Mighty Ducks logo and still going with black, orange, and gold instead of Jade and Eggplant, but we will see if this is a step in the right direction or the wrong direction

I've been a ducks fan since the mighty era. As a fellow ducks fan, I can understand everyone's hope for the return of the Eggplant and jade(which I thoughts was teal) to return full time. My opinion is this. The redesign mighty ducks logo is possibly the same but just tweak only a tiny bit. The reason they'll be using the current modern colors is basically to be part of the present day and for the future. I wouldn't be surprised nor mindnifnthe throwback uniforms would be their 3rd just to commemorate their past. But I do say this, let's see what happens.

article that came out in the LA Times before Anaheim got the name Mighty Ducks. One of the suggestions was Mice On Ice.🤣

In addition to the original logo and colors, I always really liked the unique name “Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.” It made them stand out. Really hope that this rebrand is done correctly.😊

Eggplant and Jade makes it feel like we’re a combo of the sharks and kings. I’m a big fan of the orange jersey’s specifically the traffic cone and the reverse retro 2.0.
The orange also reminds me of the Flyers, haha

Seeing bits of the new logo in posts since this video, the redraw looks OK (but the minor league baseball vibe do be screwing with me, must be the thick lines), but it's not as impressive or iconic as the OG linework - also, thoughts on plum in place of black? (I think that could work in the right circumstance, same with metallic school bus yellow in place of the bland Vegas Gold IMO)
Maybe that would help with toning down some of the orange 😅 There is a lot, lol.

It's so funny to see everyone in hockey want the old look to come back, when back in the day, everyone in hockey made fun of the Disney ducks as too cartoonish.

Honestly, I like their current look. I've always found the Mighty Ducks brand to cartoonish, and fitting to a minor league team rather than an NHL franchise. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to whatever the team comes up with
