    So basically instead of going to jail anywhere from less than 2 years for no more than 4 years, he basically threw that opportunity to get out in under 5 years. Now he is looking at decades in prison (yes, prison...not jail) for his actions. Sometimes you just have to wonder what is going through the minds of these defendants.

    In 2023 the courts finally discover the magnitude of his mental illness. My question is, why wasnt he evaluated in any of the prior charges he's had ? Some of which surely deserved a hint of "hey, maybe this guy needs an appropriate evaluation" to help in identifying this guys rationale for behavior.

    This judge is more respectful than the other judge that was attacked. All judges must be detached at all times in the courtroom from all the people they are presiding over.

      The judge who this guy attacked was very respectful. If you feel it was disrespectful for her to state Facts about his criminal history just prior to her sentencing him (but never got around to because he viciously and brutally attacked her) then You have a problem understanding the definition of ‘respectful’.

    It was not an all of a sudden event. The judge made the wrong choice in words and facial expressions at the defendant. You have to be detached from a person who is like he is.
