No matter how much money you have, when a fire destroys your home, it destroys it the same way it does for someone who doesn’t have as much $$ in their bank account. Loss is still a loss as we are all human beings living through a nightmare. Everyone should not judge others….unite and help others in any way you can. Donate, volunteer, listen, or just give a hug to someone who needs it. Thank you Crystal and Cynthia for a great conversation. God bless everyone who’s been affected by this tragedy. Yeah, but the rich people can rebuild and it won’t take 10 years they’ll be able to rebuild rather quickly with today’s technology versus the people less fortunate I don’t think you understand the money that a lot of crystal’s friends or people in Pasadena or Malibu have they’ll be fine yes it’s sad to lose a home but they’ll rebuild ….
My grandparents migrated from the Dominican Republic to Pacific Palisades in the 70s and lost everything!! My Grandfather passed away due to his asthma…may God continue to help us all….enough is enoggh

Thank you C & C, I needed this podcast today. I live in LA and I have several friends whose parents have lost their homes. I want/need to help in some kind of way. I went this past weekend and donated items, it's the least I can do.

So many of us don’t know what to do + are feeling helpless since Jan. 7th.
The amount of hate and lack of empathy I’ve seen online is incredibly disheartening…especially to those of us who lost our family homes💔
All the comments about the Palisades and why should anyone feel bad for rich people?
It’s disgusting.
Our family home in the Palisades was built in 1929, my grandfather purchased the home in 1980.
It was everything he worked hard for and continues to work for to this day.
Our family was already worried about my grandfather never retiring, now at 85 he has no choice.
This is not just rich people who lost their homes.
People need to learn how to practice kapu aloha.

I feel so bad for everyone in LA-sending much love and healing to you all. Ladies, this discussion on menopause is so important! As a certified menopause coach, I offer coaching as part of my holistic wellness practice and am so thrilled to see this becoming a more normalised conversation. There’s still so much confusion around peri, menopause, and post-menopause, especially about when perimenopause actually begins for women. I always remind women that while the side effects can be tough and leave you feeling a bit rubbish, this stage of life also brings the beautiful gifts of creativity, confidence, and wisdom. In my practice, I help my ladies embrace this time by celebrating themselves, nurturing their bodies, and prioritising self-care as an act of empowerment.
Also, don’t forget to stay hydrated in the right way-make sure you’re not flushing out all your minerals! Include electrolytes and water-rich foods in your diet. Remember, water needs to be absorbed and processed, not just flushed out by drinking gallons of it. Sending love to you all-keep up the amazing work! You both look amazing

Some of these people aren’t even rich they’ve been in their homes for 40-50 plus years purchasing them at a low cost. Plus you have insurance companies that cancelled fire protection just making it harder for some of these people.
These are people that I feel sorry for more to be honest🤷🏾♂️

Thank you for always emphasizing how important it is to be compassionate and sensitive to everyone that has been impacted, the emotional impact of everything is super challenging. You are both kind and generous spirit, I hope you can continue to be kind to yourself Crystal and Cynthia, while you help your friends and family.

I am so so sorry for everything that happened in California. I pray that God lifts those people up every single one. I’m all of the thousands and wrap his arms around them and just helps them get through it cause it will be tough and that’s putting it mildly. I will be praying and there’s a lot of other people that will be too

Love this episode. As a male, that's very tall.... I often get the excuse of gaining weight. I've always been someone who has been slim and since I've gained weight, I feel the same emotions of feeling like I lost control when it comes to eating. On the journey to get better. I feel guilty every time I eat unhealthy. Choice is what causes the Change! Thank you!

Was good to hear from Cynthia about the ordinary people who lost their homes like I think it’s sad to lose a home and I hear what crystal was saying but it’s not the same when you can’t rebuild versus those extremely wealthy that can be built. yes the memories are gone, but you have your life and your money. So yes, I like many ordinary people have selective empathy.

In all this chaos, I want these messages to reach someone.
1) Let's normalize, losing everything in a fire is universal and traumatized rich and poor alike. Trauma on kids especially doesn't care about $$$. Have compassion.
2) Don't ever minimize a Catastrophic event. It's literally making history. It's horrifying in so many ways for thousands and not over. This is the epitome of the expression "Don't count other people's money" This is an unimaginable loss. It will never be fully indemnified.
I appreciate the weight convo but IMO, it should have been mentioned that Cynthia is a partner with Weight watchers and is financially motivated to call them out by name.

Okay don’t hate me for saying this but reading the ads is a bit weird. Can yall May be try the products first? Specially weight loss products and meal preps you have never tried comes off very inauthentic. It’s expected from the everyday TH-camrs and we fast forward for most ads but you two are doing this honest raw type of content and I feel like the Ads take that away. Love yall still ❤️
Whenever Cynthia speaks of her old friendships I really think back to Nene. Feel like Nene really put her through it, and consistently berated her on and off the show especially advocating her to be fired. I see Nene do it to Marlo too, but I suppose there's a feeling of being in debt there. Glad Cynthia has grown tough skin, and is unapologetic about who she is

But let's be clear: LA is almost 500 square miles, so if you live downtown (like me), you don't see the fires. It is not as catastrophic as the media is portraying. It is very devastating for those who have been affected.

The food rumors aren't true. European here. And we so get a lot of stuff from the US imported.
Americans really need to stop with that narrative.
Due to regulatory laws, what a country exports isnt necessarily what they have easily available for purchase

Sorry for all of the people who lost their homes.. I am, however irritated, that your governor, city officials, fire dept, and mayor all failed. Nobody did their job. The devastation would have been less. Just my opinion.
