Spending those 4 days in Miyakojima was a dream come true for me! Growing up in Germany means that the summers are cold and the beaches are grey and the ocean water is cold so I could not believe the temperature and color and transparency of the beautiful ocean surrounding the islands of Miyakojima, it truly felt like paradise! And best of all - it was all still in Japan, which means I did not have to travel to a different country! All of your support here on TH-cam has made this experience possible for me and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do sponsored travels and give back to you guys by filming my trips and hopefully inspire you to check out all these amazing places yourself!
I'm sure you were able to tell from the video but to comply with the current guidelines ( www.mhlw.go.jp... ), we made reservations and avoided crowded places at all times while making this promotional video. The face shield was only used on camera and I immediately switched to a secure face mask after my scenes :)

I use to live in Oki and was lucky enough to go to miyako. There was this small beach with a stone like arch which is great for sunset view. Omg I miss Okinawa...

I don't know much about Okinawa so this was a great look into it. I've never been really interested in going there but now I think I'd like to check it out after seeing all of the beautiful places that you got to go to.

That villa though 👀 Looks like an amaaaaazing trip! I went to Okinawa for the first time Dec 2019/Jan 2020, which was a good last hurrah before the pandemic I guess! Only visited the main island, which was lovely, but I'm really regretting not getting over to Miyakojima for those beaches 😭

just followed you recently, liked your channel a lot! you're very natural and have very good content ! I didn't know it was possible to wear the transparent masks in Japan at all! good to discover, going soon and I can't wear the normal ones due health issues (it was a huge concern of mine)
How did they let you on the flight without mask?
I was wearing a face shield just for that shot and before properly entering out on my mask again :) I had ANA staff with me supervising ✌🏼
My mother recently passed away from covid. Please take the virus seriously and wear a mask to help others 😷

There has been a lot of comment this year about the southern islands being reluctant to have visitors, especially from Tokyo, regarding the "C" word. Did you feel any of that from the local people? Also, saw you with KemushiChan a couple days ago!
Not at all! But I went on a promotional trip, accompanied by the Okinawan tourism board and ANA so they were all eager to promote their business and island ☺️
As long as you stay away from the towns/villages & stick to touristy areas it'll probably be fine.
