Hello! You can get the costumes by dragging them into your Scratch backpack from the editor window link of the project --- scratch.mit.edu/projects/683413376/editor/ Hope you got them now! 🙂
When i type the first number such as 5, it will set num2 to 5 and then i will type + 5 and hit equals. But j found where the bug is and i cant figure out how to fix it. It is in num2. The first number was supposed to be num1 not num2, and before i hit equals, i find the bug to be num2 becoming 55. Remember, the original eqation was 5 + 5. Please help me fix this and i followed the tutorial, directly, not a single block is different. Also i noticed the decimal isn't covered in this tutorial, and i wanted to add it, but neither was a clear button
I can understand the problem you are facing. Try ensuring that the variable "num1" is assigned the first number (the input of the user BEFORE selecting an operation) and the variable "num2" is assigned the second number (the input of the user AFTER selecting an operation). I didn't add decimals and the clear button so as to keep the tutorial more beginner friendly. If you want to know how to do that, feel free to reach out to me either of TH-cam or my Scratch Account. I can also upload a part 2 to this tutorial if its still confusing. Hope this helped!⭐
For getting the costume you need to click "see inside" button of the project link in the description and download the costumes by --- right click --- "export" option. Hope this helps!
I appreciate that you noticed this highly common bug in your code. The reason is that the variable storing the valued isn't getting refreshed after any sum. Find that part in your code and add the code for refreshing/setting a default empty value. Hope this helps!
I have designed this calculator in scratch 3.0 but for decimal dot button is not working and also - /+button is not working can you send me code for these two buttons
I see that you want the code / the project's source code. It is provided in the description of the video but if you were unable to find it, here it is --- scratch.mit.edu/projects/683413376/editor/
Goodhello! If you are asking about how to copy the source code / costumes / sprites, you can do so by going to the description of this video and clicking on the scratch project link. Click "See inside" to access everything and proceed by putting everything you want in your scratch backpack. You are ready to use it in your project now!
