Come And See, it’s an anti war film where a young boy joins the Soviet resistance and faces countless horrors. Some of the scenes are absolutely brutal but the horror is/was based on very real things that would have happened during that time. Definitely worth a watch at least once.

These had to be some of the most ungrateful people. Mickey, was absolutely right to not tell those greedy people what all he had. He made the right call to test all of them, and they did exactly what he thought they would. The others should've gang up on those other two, when they started acting a donkey torturing and cutting digits off. She left her boyfriend and Mickey to burn alive after they came to save her. That was so damn cruel and such a horrible way to go!

The poetry that IS Mickey's fate is great writing. It's hinted that he was in the service, and lost his family in 911. He was also a fire fighter(maybe during or post 911). He diss by fire taking care of Sam and looking at a photo of him and his wife. It's bittersweet but him smiling and accepting fate was awesome.

Broooo!! I love this movie. I watched it with my sister after we rented it from our library. After it was over we just sat there in silence for a few seconds.
As traumatizing as it was I liked how it showed how barbaric people get in an isolated environment with limited food. It’s so intense and in your face about the true horrors of man. No matter what tho watching it as a high schooler definitely made me realize the strength of a desperate person.

If you like psychological studies, this film is awesome. While most movies of the end of the world do dabble in mental breakdowns, they never go this far or make it so raw. They usually make it comedic like Mad Max style. Seeing a realistic and desperate struggle in a underrated film is amazing.

I remember years ago I watched this with my parents, none of us had any idea that it would end up being so messed up. My mom left the room angry after around 2/3 of the movie and saying that she should have left sooner. This is now a running joke in our family. My mother is still pissed at my dad and I (even though we had no idea it would be like this) and my father and I still tease her about it. My father even gifted me the DVD for Christmas a few years ago to keep the joke running, my mom was so exasperated haha
