- We are back with some more BT-16 Matchplay for you all. These matches were filmed at Dean's Dugout as our locals scene continues to grind it out and prepare to take on Peoria Regionals. We apologize for the somewhat of a monotony of decks but after Regionals are over we expect to see some more unique decks re-emerge! Today's feature has Ben playing old reliable with MirageGaogamon going up against Will and his Fenriloogamon build.

At 5:25 Fangmon evolving, but the players use the "on play / on attacking" effect.
at 3:35 with the fangmon on play, shouldn't mirages all turns trigger?

Rooting for ya at regionals from one Mirage player to another! Would love to see a deck list after y'all finish up regionals as well, especially after seeing the DeathX lol
I'd love to find room for him but I'm almost tempted to bump Full Moon to 3 considering MagnaX and the amount of threats running around lol, granted I guess as long as we see BT13 Mach, we just play our game and do our thing.
Thank you!! I will try to represent us well haha and for sure! I feel like DeathX is just so good this format particularly with decks like Nume and Vax running around that live and breathe tamers. And it is very good at just dealing with level 4's that threaten a MagnamonX next turn.
And that was my thought process as well -- I was rocking a more tech/counter build but at the end of the day we just want to see BT13 Mach, set up and go for game so I've just built the deck around that with DeathX and Full Metal Blaze as forms as removal (mainly cause i know this region is heavy on nume)

I believe because it was the memory passed ending turn, triggering EoT for Eiji and Helloogar. Playing out Eiji tripped the looga/rs inherit bringing him back to 0 memory and then continuing with Helloogar’s EoT

The card had a mistranslation. You have to play and free trait from trash and THAT card gets rush and has to attack

Not gonna lie was looking at your list past couple days trying to make some last minute changes to mine so appreciate the shout out! Will try to do us proud my brother!
@@HyperColosseum i can tell you now emperor helped me slow down the pace for the Nume/RH match ups and don’t get me wrong I like bt13 Mirage but melga though being able to stun 3 on board essentially and double evade? Partner that with bt13 Mach makes it nearly impossible to get rid of it on board! If you need anything don’t be afraid to reach out!
6:15 Mirage player forgot to gain memory would have set the player to 1 memory
Didn't gain the memory because the effect already activated once earlier that turn I believe
Game 2 fenrir player could choose to not play tyranomon by fenrir effect giving less memory for mirage player in his turn
Agreed; definitely something to watch out for -- I think I had other ways to gain that memory otherwise but he definitely could have made me work for it
Didn’t mirage already gain memory by the loogar swing to draw.
game 1 "this sequence was really good by him" as it was only possible by cheating/misplaying with fangmons effect. gotta love it
Even without the missplay, the ending sequence for game 1 was still the same. All the fangmon missplay did was put loogamon in trash and a helloogar in hand, which both weren't needed in the end since all other pieces needed were already in hand or in trash.
