Thank you, Helen. I’ve got to get a handle on how to increase my production schedule! I’m thinking about running shorter videos (but more of them) in between my longer videos. I may end-up calling them “John’s World Mini’s “!
Greetings from Torrance! Another exciting session! Love the emphasis on "House Money" because it changes how I look at the money in the bankroll. At anytime you could have hit a 8k or 20k royal. Also at anytime you could have hit 4 aces for 800 to 2000 dollars. Even a quad from 250 to 625 dollars. All this on house money starts to get real exciting. At some point everyone has been on a "Hot Machine". Why not take advantage and really hit big? Especially when it is on someone else's dime? Big wins will happen. Why not do it on house money? Thanks again John! Have a good time in Vegas and be safe!
Hi Paul, You have a “cameo” appearance in my Pechanga video that’s launching tomorrow. And, yes, we could have hit a $40,000 Royal too!🤣 See you soon brotha’!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Mason, @The Bearded Gambler! Even with all the ups, and downs, twists and turns, that video poker gives me; I still love every session, no matter what it brings!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
This was a long-winded run, for sure. 🙂 You have pretty good luck when you get down to the bottom of the bankroll many times. Great video and continued good luck! 😎
Thank you, Jim. Every session has its’ own unique “personality” with their own chills, spills, and thrills!😁 I see them all as people and friends that I have met on the long video poker road of life!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

I’ve hitting a lot of Quad 5’s this year for some reason (as seen in my earlier videos near the beginning of 2022)! And there’s more of those Quad 5’s coming!😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Michael. I’m not always sure on some of my intros because they may or may not be appealing to everybody, but I do try hard to make them as interesting as possible. Thank you for expressing your liking of them!😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker well I am in the Bay Area it’s not that close I drive up at least five times a year, about a three and a half hour drive.was thinking the gang might go to Reno sometime.
It’s a certainty that I’ll be in Reno next year and I don’t think there will be any arm twisting getting the Slotmassacre Crew up there too. We’re all itching to hit Reno together! We’ll let you know well in advance so you can join us!😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hi John , love your videos, but may I ask why do you insist on upping your bet when you get a big win. I understand that you are playing with their money, but you should take profit and then either keep it the same stakes or move to a different machine and then increase your stakes. I love your cavalier attitude but don’t want you to go broke. Thanks for the videos🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
I appreciate your concern about my going broke, but I can happily say that I’m not reckless. I play to a certain amount (well within my means) and then quit (wether I’m up or down). I prefer to invest small profits ($4,000 and below that are won from casinos) and put them towards hitting $20,000 to $100,000 Royals. As long as I’m re-cycling small Royal Flush wins, I don’t mind losing that “house money bankroll” and giving it back to the casino……it’s just free play. I up my bets off of house money to put myself in a position to hit big Royals. When I hit big wins, I use them constructively and pay down the mortgage. I’m not a recreational video poker player, nor am I a professional video poker player. I just collect big Royals and try as much as possible to leverage smaller wins into bigger wins and then cash out. I enjoy making the videos and playing guitar. Once I hit 100 big Royals, (I’m going for #39), I’ll just play guitar all day.😉🌎
Pala is a still better because they have all the full pay games as progressives but I like Pechanga better overall. No smoking is a huge for me and Pechanga pays me. I hit another 4k royal on Wednesday.
Conratulations in hitting your Royals! And, Yes……I wish all the casinos were non-smoking as is Pechanga, Barona, & Park MGM is in Las Vegas. Less smokey casinos are Aria, Encore/Wynn, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Venetian/Palazzo, & parts of the Plaza downtown. Thank you for the info on the games at Pechanga & Pala.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I notice that the faster the setting is (on the machine) the faster I play. I must remember to keep it on the slowest setting, otherwise, the machine runs away with me. That can be unpleasant on the bankroll as well as the viewers. Next time, I’ll be more mindful for both reasons!😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Lost badly today.. 😥 couldn't get much help on the redraws. Couldn't turn 2 pair into full houses. Couldn't make 5 card flushes from 4 card flushes etc....
Yes…..I certainly know the feeling that’s for sure. With 2.6M hands, there’s 1.4M of those that favor the casino. Fortunately, they randomly come out with the other 1.2M that favor the player. Where we, as players end-up, (on any given session), is whatever the “ratio” or mixture of those favorable vs. unfavorable hands just happen to be. Good sessions are overpopulated with favorable hands, and not so good sessions, are over populated with unfavorable hands. I tend to gamble small (on my own money), and tend to gamble big on “house money” in order to minimize my personal loss. I have no problem after hitting a small Royal ($4,000, $2,000, or $1,000) and using that as a house money bankroll on high denomination coins. Otherwise, it may be best to stay on 25¢, 50¢, & $1 coin denominations until a Royal Flush is hit, and then play big. But just as there are bad sessions, there are also good sessions. I find that constant daily practice on a simulator that “warns on mistakes” is helpful in mitigating losses to some extent. Be careful to stay within your means. Take care.😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I have a lot of experience, but not much in the way of expertise on most of the games. I almost exclusively play 8/5 Bonus Poker, although I will “visit” certain games like 9/6 JoB, 9/6 BPD, 9/6 DDB, & NSUD Deuces Wild. But those are only very short excursions for me such as when I’m up on house-money looking for a possible “quick-hit” before returning to 8/5 Bonus Poker. Typically when I’m up on house-money I prefer to stay on 8/5 Bonus Poker but up the coin denomination to score bigger wins, rather than play a high volatility game at a lower denomination. When it comes to bankroll, I could care less about whatever happens to a house-money bankroll (of $4,000 or less ) after I’ve won it since I see it as free play to be used on high denomination coin machines. Of course, when I hit a high a denomination Royal Flush such as $8,000, $20,000, or $40,000+ Royals, I “do care” about those and use them to make “jumbo payments” on the mortgage, or to pay-off a car, landscaping, pool, etc. I currently have my sights set on hitting Royal Flush #39 (preferably for $40,000-$80,000) or more.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Congratulations, 27 Royals is quite a feat. The $8,000 Royal is a solidly good hit (so much more rewarding than the smaller Royals). Keep it going and hit 30!😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Absolutely. I was on the middle speed setting and before I knew it I was zipping along with wild abandon. It’s always beat to have the machine on its slowest setting. I’ll definitely remember that next time. I actually orefer to play at a more leisurely pace.😅🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
