This looked way too much like a bot game, where you basically just walk to one and get a kill 99% of the time, regardless of how many enemies are there.

It's an alpha. As another commenter said before, this is smite 1.5 at this point. Still have a long way to go finishing things, and your lobby is restricted by who is able to play the alpha

He is very good, former pro, but here the small alpha testing player pool worked in his favor.
Next up: INCON suggests pronouns need to be in the game, instead of names, so people can be called what they are preferred... and not to trigger others. Ban all names.
He was making fun of the name's correlation with the player choosing to disconnect from the game. It was a joke, nothing more. Besides, it is a completely different story from the pronoun discussion.

Smite 2 looks horrible. Hopefully it doesn't work out so smite can still exist
there is no universe in which smite continues to exist, either smite 2 doesn't work out and smite goes under a year or two later or smite 2 does work and the playerbase transfers over
Then what does smite 1 look like? It looks like actual play dough 😂😂
