Anther great video Joe, I like to see what is going on there too. I feel bad for Don too. Winter is bad enough but to be sick in the winter stinks. Keep these videos coming!!!!
Man Joe! That's a lot of work putting together the "All Things Must Pass" albums. Love the Stones albums at the end too. I'd take most (maybe even all of them) before some random guy, who posted a comment here, does! Take care Joe!
I really like Joe's personality. He's compassionate and tries to help people when he can yet not so compassionate that it prevents him from being a good businessman. That seems like the right mix to me.
escaperabbit - I'm glad you noticed. Some viewers have him pegged as a jerk, but he just has to balance things. As I often say, he's got his moods too just like anyone else. He's a good guy.
I'm loving the store videos so much. I tell ya these videos are a great advertisement for the store! Certainly makes me want to make the drive down some day to check out Joe's store! I hope to stop in there one of these days. My son lives in Astoria, so I think I can make it down at some point. Thanks for the fun and entertainment Joe...gets me excited about collecting etc. And PS: for what you guys do for Don, you should be commended. Makes me feel good to see you all care so much and help when you can. You're good people Joe....God bless....and thanks again.....Matty PSS: "Whaaaat!"
Mathew Street - Hope you can make it there some day. Send me a PM if you're ever going to go. I appreciate that people enjoy the videos enough to become excited for collecting, and so on.
love these record store videos joe! like seeing the regulars and all the goings on. I hope don is feeling better now, it is a little bit of a downer to see him by himself with not a lot of options. I'm sure the crew at the record store help him out every now and then. joe mentioned he gives him a few bucks which is noble and generous. we have to look out for each other rob
What's all the white stuff on the side of the road. I still need a good copy of All Things Must Pass. A good clean erasure works wonders. Don didn't sound good at all. Those Stones albums are beautiful.
Beat Up Collector - I didn't think I'd ever get a new modern phone, but I wound up getting one. I admit I like it a lot.. I wonder if driving an SUV is next?
Hah taco bell. Good choice. I know its not good for you but I enjoy it as a cheat meal from my diet. And it doesn't hurt the wallet either. Yea he was right, if its super busy and he has the flu he should not be allowed in the store. Especially if he stays there for an extended period of time. He just needs rest like anybody else in that situation.
This is a sad video. I know this isn't a political channel so I'll just say my heart goes out to Don. Again I don't want to make any presumptions but there is no way, a man his age should be walking around with an upper respiratory infection that has reached that stage of maturation. He may have "lucked out" as it is that the weather in your neck of the woods isn't as artic as it usually is this time of year but you see things like that and it really makes you count your blessings. I know the VC is about having a good time and exchanging information and laughs but sometimes you are reminded they are more important things out there than collecting vinyl. I can understand the local business owners not wanting him in their shops infecting other people, but at the same time doesn't make me feel much better about the situation. All the best Joe.
jldraw - You have to know Don. He has chosen this lifestyle, it's the way he wants it. He stays at hotels, gets a monthly check. He's actually very smart and better than he's giving himself credit for, though.
jldraw - He always does. When it's not at the hotel, he is set up by the church. I guess I am not taking into consideration that this type of video may play differently to those viewers who don't know him, and that everything is not quite as it appears. He's a tough guy, a survivor, and in a way has beat the system.

Great one Joe and yeah as a collector piece I have pre-ordered the remastered George Harrison vinyl box set. Looks amazing
Astrosjer - Hope you enjoy it. Let me know how it is.
I’ve been going back to earlier record store videos. Oh my God Joe’s hair caught me off guard
Enjoy the videos.

Beatlevinyl85 - Hi Marv. It was fun trying to make coherent ATMP sets with the best records in each.

MeanMr Mayo absolutely Joe, I will, and thanks. Matt
Hey Joe, another cool Store video. Some Stones albums were awesome. I hope Don feels better. That's it. Take care...
Hope Don feels better soon. Always love to see these Store visits. Keep us updated on Don! Take care. ~ Andy

rob - Yes, Joe does indeed help him out.
I hope Don gets better.
Hi joe really enjoy the out and about videos....hope Don gets better...geeezzz stay well yourself--- Lis
L.E. - Thanks.. don't want to get sick again!
I'll proudly take the All things must pass albums off your hands Joe lol 🤣
Thanks joe. I never know about the eraser trick .Will it get ring where out ? Lots of good stuff.
Beatle Brad - It only works on some things. Don't think it will get ring wear out of just anything.
Ok thank you for the info.
Always great seeing the guys - I would have taken one of those broken boxes - I have ATMP vinyl with sleeves, no box!
dixielandfarm - If ATMP will be one of those items you'll keep on physical vinyl, maybe consider getting a box next time you're in town.
Lmao. I literally just got handed my order from Taco Bell as this video was playing and then I see you pulling up to it.
June Port Bridge - Creepy.
Have you ever considered getting some sort of wearable hands-free setup so you have an easier time digging? Love the videos!

Vinyl Richie - The white stuff is melting as temps go up (the radio just said it will be 70 on Thursday - I love Global Warming!) .
Using an eraser is a good idea. I do it with 2nd hand vinyl covers.it bugs me that some folks write on the covers. My copy of pot luck was like that
Don rules hang in there buddy \m/
Moby Grape ! mixed in with the stones lps.
I’m going to have to try the erasure trick, thanks Joe.👍
Poor Don!
I use a white eraser and wipe away the residue with lighter fluid.
Uncensored Moby Grape with the bird finger on the washboard! "VROOOM!"
Moby Grape record in the Rolling Stones mix
I know, I know.
I've still got an ancient telephone and im in my mid 30's :D
Beat Up Collector - I didn't think I'd ever get a new modern phone, but I wound up getting one. I admit I like it a lot.. I wonder if driving an SUV is next?
haha, i hope not. there ugly and unnecessary for suburban areas, in my opinion.
What happened to the Elvis phone guy?
greg mckeaver - He's been blocked.

Don is my hero

Good to know. Still hope he has someplace warm to stay tonight.

Don also buys vinyl and keeps it in storage.

Love the record store vids!
beatleman69 - Thanks, man. There is another one that will be online any second now.
