They haven't settled outside Ashanti but today's Ashanti region. One thing we must know is Ashanti as a kingdom is different from Ashanti as a region created by politicians. The later(Ashanti Region) was done for political administrative purposes so to have districts, municipals and regions to make the country governable. Due to how big Ashanti kingdom was, it was affected most. The ancient Ashanti Kingdom was bigger than today's Ghana where it transcended into half of today's Ivory Coast. This was how big Ashanti kingdom was. So when you hear a traditional person saying Ashanti, he's referring to the kingdom and not the political demarcations called Ashanti region.

It's bent but not broken, he's looking for a better way to make things right. I hope he can succeed. They need to work together to lift Nkoransah. It is believed that the Abusuapanin knows the family members and sometimes a queenmother or a chief may not be a member of the royal family according to twi customs and tradition. Because the queenmother has the highest authority in the family and at the same time a member of the traditional council she communicates or presents the chosen to-be chief to the ttraditional council for validation after deliberation with the Abusuapanin. Many factors are considered before choosing the preferred to- be chief. A major key factor is the senior most among the contestants not in terms of age but in terms of generation. Most often the senior ones are the bothers to the late chief in terms of generation but not biological ones. Brothers are sometimes difficult to find to take the gun of their late brother and ancestors. The next in turn for consideration are the nephews. If the nephews are many emphasis is placed on household with the lowest frequency of occupying the black stool when competency from both contestants are perceived to be at par with each other. When neither brother nor nephew is found the search is placed on grandchildren for consideration with emphases on competency and the family with the lowest frequency of occupying the stool.
Other members of the traditional council cannot nominate and validate the to-be chief without the involvement of the queenmother let alone to the extent of allowing the nominated chief to swear without the presence of the queenmother.
The court may declare you a chief on the basis that the queenmother has not sworn in another Royal as chief to contest the position of Nkoranzahene with you, Nana.
Accept to initiate legal process to render the gazette of your enstoolment null and void after appealling to Otumfoɔ and your queenmother and to start your installation process afresh. He cannot and must not be regarded as the chief of Nkoranzaman because he's not sworn oath to Asantehene as the chieftaincy custom of Asanteman which Nkoranzaman is a part of clearly depicts. If he seeks pardon and audience with his father the Asantehene, he should do the needful by not carrying himself around as a chief. In Asante, the Queen alone has the sole right to appoint a royal to be enstooled.

I have listend to the ' pseudo omanhene' and by his narrative, he admits the illigality in his installation.
