আমি এমন গল্পের একটা উপন্যাস পড়েছিলাম। নাটকটা দেখে প্রথমে মনে হচ্ছিলো পরিচিতো কারোর জিবন সংসার। পরে মনে হলো আরে এই নাটকের রূপ দেওয়া হয়েছে সেই উপন্যাসের।

Non bengali here, could someone explain why Iresh Zaker keeps lifting Joya Ahsan and carrying her down the stairs and why their son cheers for the dad lifting his mom and carrying her?

Thanks for this inquitiveness. This act of his' lifting Jaya on his arms to carrying down the stair for 1 month at a strech was the only condition imposed by Jaya way to their divorce.
Indeed a very touchy drama or a telefilm whatever, which ends with pathos. That she had been suffering from cancer was unknown to him, nor she had ever revealed the truth vis a vis the child in so far as it couldn't know that the bondage love in between the couple was no more.
Now, I would like know something from you of the background piece at the end, which is equally melodious, heart-touching & memorable. Is it sung in Spanish?

"What fun, father has taken my mother in his arms" as the translation goes like this tantamount to the immediate outburst of feelings of surprise, joy & ecstasy that develop in the kid's mind, which's quite natural for the little lovely boy to having seen his parents coming close together, loving each other after a long gap, the total act in reality was a drama albeit unknown of the sweet boy.
In fact, human behaviour, expression, etiquette more or less similar notwithstanding, each & every 'language' has it's own aura & perspective which are subscribed by it's own ancestral, socio-cultural, traditional, geographical, ethical, syllabic etc attributes that identify, differentiate & beautify the language from an another. The same difference exists even among people from region to region with different dialects even having the same mother language, say Bengali, which is why the exact translation or menifestation whatever of a language into other becomes at times tough, even impossible. How can a Chinese without knowing French, the language, extract the literal taste & charm of the latter?
The above-said lines are purely the limited knowledge & narrative of my own ; may be, you have a different interpretation. Hope you won't mind with my blabbery.
