No exaggeration, the staff members of the Tokyo Disney parks were one of my top favourite things EVER about my experiences there. Always so amazingly friendly despite being such hard workers, and always adding an extra smile to your day. I think they're all secretly magic ;3

A trip to Disney Sea, had not occurred to me but you have sold it for sure and it is now firmly on the list. Wow! An unbelievable park. I am not 100% healthwise, so mum and dad like to keep me pretty close but hey! Duffy is actually not exclusive to Tokyo Disney Sea. I worked in EPCOT in Disney World, and you can actually meet Duffy there. You can purchase Duffy merchandise in most stores throughout Disney World as well.
You're right, and in Hong Kong Disneyland too! I should have clarified in the video, DisneySea is the only place you can get the plushies in JAPAN (except for second-hand/thrifting of course, usually at a significantly marked-up price LOL)
Princess Peachie That’s so crazy you can only get them through Disney Sea in Japan! I didn’t know that. I will say, Duffy is far more popular in Japan than here in the US. When I worked with Duffy, almost all the guests in line to meet him were either Japanese or toddlers lol. I love Duffy though! 🐻
@@MadameWario Hahaha yes that's what I heard too! I was actually surprised to hear he didn't even originate in Japan, but was mostly a flop and then became this huge giant deal in Japan to the point he is now the mascot of DisneySea lol!! (like Wish Me Mel in Puroland!!)

I'm not really sure I'd go to Tokyo disney land because I've been to other one, but disney sea looks fun! Also, I'm enjoying this video with a mug of ginger tea before bed and it's perfect
If you have limited time and have already been to another Disneyland with similar rides, DisneySea is definitely to one to go to! :D Otherwise I'd suggest both, as Tokyo Disneyland has it's own special feel and also sells a lot of very cool merchandise. It also tends to have a majorly cute Easter event through spring, as well as the unique Tanabata Days event during mid-June to early July.

I've been watching your Japan vlogs all this time and it's made me extra excited for my trip, and now it's so close! It's sooo cute how you guys ended up with coords that matched not only the DisneySea theme but Stella Lou too. I already bought the Liz Lisa Mermaid Sweets Parlor OP thinking it would be perfect for it too! I love both Stella Lou and Shellie May so I know I'm gonna end up spending a lot of yen on merch from here lmao. It's so funny that you finally found 'normal' pizza in Disney of all places, but it's so true that it's hard to find what the west considers 'actual pizza' around in Japan!
Pro tip for wind and skirts! Gather the material in a bunch/pleat fashion off to the side, so gather it horizontally. Holding it like that gives it no material to blow around! I wear skirts and dresses all the time and this is the best way I've found!
I kept on trying to remember where I heard the cute movement noises you put in tgese videos and now I remember!!! It was the most adorable Facebook game EVER called Happy Pet Story! 😍 Also, HOW did you not buy Stella Lou ears? I thought for SURE you'd buy, wish I could see you with them!
Oh weird, really?? I've never heard of that game before!! I have some generic anime sound effects packs which may have used sounds from that game, perhaps? Also I have some old PS1 video game sound effects from Croc & Klonoa! I still had my Miss Bunny hairclip from Disneyland so I wore that instead :D However THIS year I bought Stella Lou ears and wore them to both DisneySea and Disneyland!!
ACTUALLY just remembered, we were going to buy the ears in this video but it was just too windy! We saw people struggling to keep theirs on LOL. It was 24 MPH wind that day, only increased by the fact we were by the sea!

Jewels and I actually thought the opposite, we preferred Tokyo Disneyland! BUT I should emphasize we thought Tokyo DisneySea was totally amazing too, and I think the Mermaid Lagoon is the best "area" from any Disney park. I think it just came down to Disneyland was a bit more "kawaii" and colourful for us, and more rides appealed to us too.
