For D2 configuration....why the 2 electrons can go in +1 orbital without filling +2....means why should we jump the d orbitals during filling up the electrons
@Gate_chemistry It’s a video from 4 years back and I’m worried either I’m gonna get reply or not …so my question is the value of S for one electron is half (1/2) but when you solved the questions you put (S=1) for one electron …like in question 2 and also question 7 …can you explain this please
Sir, the electronic ground state term for the chromium ion in [Cr(CN)6]4- is 1).3F 2).3H 3).3G 4).5D Please explain.. My ans is 3D bt the correct answer is 3H
can you send me the link of the previous important video(which you was talking about in the point of Sm3+) of this one because I searched for it but I couldn't find it
Sir, u said that there is no gap when we fill the electrons at 12.40 time. But in ur explanation about the term symbol qn in june 2017 qn. To get 1S term symbol u place the electrons by making a gap. Pls clarify this

sir please make a video regarding explanation of the molecular orbital diagrams of the organometallic compounds involving ferrocene and other ligands if u get time. As I had gone through it and understood it at time but certain books had solved in different ways and I had studied it for two or three complexes only
i came through a question but unable to solve it.Which term symbol arises from the configuration of 2s1p1??? Answer should be 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 Other than these one more term symbol should be there according to the options given a) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 1p1 (b) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 1D2 (C) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 3D3 (d) All of these Plz explain the correct answer i am not getting it
Sir I think that when you are giving us lesson of d2 term you use formula (2S+1)(2L+1).then you wrote 2s+1=2and the results is 6 .sir how 2s+1 =2for d2.please explain

sir , please make a video on detailed stereo chemistry
Sir , why u are using uppercase letters to write the electronic configurations? I think it should be d2 not D2, as D represents the term symbol.
Bcoz sir checking you thats have u basic knowledge?
@@jahidsardar3105 who are you ??
Sir if you don't mind when ever you have free time could you please provide us one class on Molecular term symbol
Plz sir
Sir, the electronic ground state term for the chromium ion in [Cr(CN)6]4- is
1).3F 2).3H 3).3G 4).5D
Please explain.. My ans is 3D bt the correct answer is 3H
Yes sir bt how L=5
This is due to strong ligand Field
L=5 because (+2+2+1+0) so the symbol is H and due to strong field ligand the value of S is 1. Thus we get the term 3H
can you send me the link of the previous important video(which you was talking about in the point of Sm3+) of this one because I searched for it but I couldn't find it
While explaining D2 how did you arrive at 3 p as one of the valid cases .why did you left +2 one empty? Isn't it a violation of hunds rule
This is very important topic ...sir Please make a vedio on Tnabbe sugano diagram
