So in theory, you could tank a competitors site by sending them a load of shitty backlinks, is that correct? If so that seems very poor planning on Google's part.
Great stuff as always... so I've definitely got a content penalty. I have began revamping many of my articles, but google does not seem to respond. I used to be able to rewrite an article and get to the top 3 results in just a couple days... Now, I update an old article with new tactics, more concise info, etc. and google doesn't seem to care. It takes over a week to get the new post crawled again, but the ranking does not move! Do you think that I need to wait until the next core update to see positive effects from spending an hour or more revising and republishing each piece of outdated content? Please let me know!! ❤❤ thank you so much!!
It'll take until the next core update (where content is analyzed) for it to recover. Keep on that train.... It's a bit of a grind when the penalty happens.
Nice reminder! Yeah, I'd put that into the content penalty portion, for sure. Lots of stuff under that category. This is a good factor people should be wary of. "Non-improvements" to content.
Two questions 1. For spreading the name out, will buy press release campaigns work? 2. Should one delete content that has not dropped off from the top 10 and not bringing any traffic?
Another excellent video! What would you do about penalties for sites that have used automated/AI content - this is where the clicks/impressions grows then at some point they go to zero? Kind of like the backlink penalty chart...but without backlinks being built. Thanks!
One of my posts was hit on 6th October, to zero impression. About 4 days ago, I reduced the density of keyword, then It got impression and clicks again, like it ranked again for two days, but after that, on 24 December, it's back to zero impression again. Can you explain?

17:40 Ooppss! Just like all the other channels you criticize for charging. And when you charge you try to give excuses about why. Ironic two faced behavior. 😂 If zero people talks about it that’s black hat.
I don't criticize them for charging. I criticize them for not know what they're talking about. I also tell you that you don't have to pay for anything. You can simply just watch the videos. Aside from me doing all the work FOR YOU, I think that's the best I can do, homie.
@@SEOtruths I love what you have guided. They are incredibly valuable, and I couldn't find them in other TH-camrs. I have taken some courses, and I can ensure that what you teach is far more valuable than those courses. I don't understand why many people question the charging of fees. SEO is a work that requires effort, time, and knowledge. If someones want quick results, they simply have to pay. Otherwise, they need to strive to learn gradually. And there's no better place than your channel to learn SEO.
@@strangerthings2tees267 I don’t know why I’m thinking of the “Dunning-Kruger effect” and “God complex”. 😂 People that thinks they know everything often knows nothing. Believing the myth of “fast quick fix SEO” shows the lack of skills. I’m worked with SEO for at least 20 years so I know about the different levels and scams. I’m still learning new stuff after testing different scenarios and so on. I would never claim that “all the other SEO people” does or knows this or that. It’s a incompetent and disrespectful comment that says more about the person saying it. The common setup is to give away some black hat techniques, offer some tools (that’s not better than existing free tools), show some fake screenshots of earnings (edited in PS) and of course add some boner graph’s to convince someone to buy the course and so on. All of these fake gurus earn their money on selling courses to the wannabe SEO’s, not on actually doing what they preach. The people that earns a lot in SEO doesn’t waste their time on teaching the wannabes, wasting time on TH-cam and so on, they spend time with their families that’s taught to avoid social media. The SEO gurus that sits in their communities in Bali and so on are not so successful they claim, they’ve just found a place where they can buy prostitutes, drugs and housing very cheap. They don’t have large clients, just their fake Black Hat sites they refer to each other’s. I understand that facts can be uncomfortable to hear, but that is the reader’s problem. I’m just watching for entertainment and rarely learn anything new in the different channels. It’s often a waste of time I’m spending while waiting in the lounge, sometimes even better than the SNL. 😂

Thanks, 90% of my backlinks were not created by me, thats BS. Google needs to fix this.
You'd be surprised, mostly it's just highly unnatural links that create the penalty. But, yeah, it's a bad fine line on Google's part.
so what are you suppose to do if a competitor spams your website with massive bad backlinks? @@SEOtruths
Your content is so freaking amazing! Thank you!

Two questions

2. Should one delete content that has not dropped off from the top 10 and not bringing any traffic?
Press Release *can* help but it's not a silver bullet because it doesn't always stick on Google or stay live on some of the PR pages.

That's still going to be in the content penalty range. But it's going to be start over again...
You’re not getting a penalty for AI content. It’s bad quality content.
great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
finally, you are updated hahaha
So, backlinks penalty, what if domain could be change? Content could be saved?
No. That's a technique that does not work. 301'ing the domain just brings all the same backlinks.

You don't...
By submitting your sitemap via Google Search console, but it will take time for your articles to be indexed.
@@sincala I have submitted my sitemap to GSC and it's taking ages for Google to crawl them
