It's a phrase which I think is attempting to say, "all love is equally valid". But pride month confuses sinful sexual activity with love. Sin is not loving, even between heterosexual couples, if it is not in a marriage
As Dostoevsky puts it, to love someone is to see them as God intended them. Love according to Truth, and not the unconditional acceptance type of love that modernists propagate. That is not love at all but fuel for sin and death. It would be foolish to say that a father who loves his son must accept and support his son's drug addiction by buying him more drugs because if he truly loves him, he must accept every kind of action his son does, knowing that it will lead him into despair and death, simply because "love is love."

@@happymate8943 hi there. Please continue reading the same exact chapter for a preview of what was to come in the lives of the disciples: St Matthew 10:16-18 DRC1752 [16] Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves. [17] But beware of men. For they will deliver you up in councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. [18] And you shall be brought before governors, and before kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles: Gentiles too. But it had to start with the Jews. It's good to read the Old and New Testament so you could understand the promise of the Messiah for the Jews first then Gentiles. It was prophesied for thousands of years. To understand that is to understand the Tanakh. It's the most Jewish thing to do to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hello Father, when it comes to trying to help or correct someone we dearly love doing something wrong and wanting to continue doing so, I want to correct them but I think of the phrase ‘do not try to take the speck out of your neighbours eye before taking the log out of your own’ this makes me hesitate to say anything or pick anyone up on anything, especially as it comes off as ‘judgemental’ but rather I pray for them, how can I help others with their sin and try to help them come to the Lord entirely and break them out of the lukewarmness of simply praying occasionally and ‘believing in God’, please pray for me this is very dear to me, I’d love a response!
Read in scripture how graciously some went to another that was doing wrong. Nathan to David....Paul to the churches via letters. (Example, ladies who had disdain)
@@dismahusername8309 I think it's really honorable of you to not want to judge anyone or come off as such. I learned that it's the most loving thing to do to help someone understand the value of following Christ. You could do it thru gracious conversation in fear and trembling (in other words be careful not to use harsh words or say something that is devilish or antagonizing). You can explain how you want nothing more than for them to be healed from past abuses and trauma and its only the Lord that can heal from the roots to the tips. Maybe share your own testimony and encourage them to keep saying in their hearts the Jesus prayer. That the mercy in that prayer moves mountains. Doesn't matter if they understand everything or not, God can do the rest. Women for example, can render their husbands good as it says in Proverbs 31 by being an encouragement of good, and sort of look sad or distant at bad behavior (like cursing). You can try that approach too with friends, family, anyone really that values your opinion. It's easy to show what you like and don't like with facial expressions and body language - without going over the top but even just looking away and contemplative without smiles or nervous laughs (that our society does a lot) can go a long way for discouragement. Whereas you can reinforce good behavior by opening up and showing more friendliness. Of course, it's a little different between married couples but you could just encourage them by showing more interest in the discussion and being more involved and active when they are doing something wholesome. Of course, talking about it first is key or else they can't catch on to the facial cues that it's related. You can show them how you struggle with something and what you've been doing that helps. Even if they don't put two and two together but are encouraged to do one simple thing, even just wearing a cross or giving them an icon (only if they accept to keep it with them), you can trust and believe that the Lord responds to any mustard seed of faith. We don't know how it works but things change in people we never expected.
When someone you love is sinning or destroying themselves, we Christian’s certainly have the right to judge them. That verse you quote has nothing to do with what the father is talking about.

@happymate8943 first off, it is rude to spam every single comment on someone else's video with - to be frank - fake information. I realize you are very confident in yourself, but you are incorrect Mathew 24:14 is the verse you're looking for. Second, "pride is pride". A humble person does not take pride in their accomplishments. Rather, a humble person acknowledges that their accomplishment is not theirs alone, but the work of multiple people and of God. Pride is inherently destructive. It convinces people that they are more worthy than they truly are. A little pride may appear harmless, just as a little mercury may appear harmless. But how quickly it builds and destroys a man....
@@princezzpuffypants6287 Well to spread the message, I mean it does relate to the same topic. Also sorry I forgot about this one. 1)Matthew 24 , if I remember it was related to a prophecy he was sharing with the others. Basically his teachings will be the main school of thought that will lead Judea and convert many God-fearers into Judaism. Because if you don't know Gentiles converting into Judaism isn't a new thing, it's part of the old testament, they even prophesied that they'll bring the world into this belief. But there's something I wanted to mention, this could relate to the more apocalyptic belief the movement has taken in, especially after the crucifixion. This tied into the belief that he'll return to lead Judea into a new golden age across the world. I bring this up because one of the big reasons for the movement started to fight back against the Romans, and this gospel was written 50 years after his time on earth. A lot of beliefs and plans have changed after the event, but that's my personal thought. 2) and what if individuals who did things through a lot of their hard work, shouldn't they be proud? Not only that they can still be proud of something and still acknowledge the things or even people that helped them. Strange to compare it to mercury, I know being overly prideful can lead people to down a dangerous road and this is where I say don't over indulge in it. In other words I have more self awareness and learn about EQ.

But then why are people inclined to love their same sex? And those that do, do you think they do so whimsically, making light of it? Surely, it's a journey of doubt, fear and uncertainty.
I think you need to take another listen to this video. I love many women, my mother, my best friend, my aunts, cousins, neighbors.... loving someone cannot be a sin, but when we use that love to justify lust, THAT is a distortion of love and THAT is a sin. People are inclined to LOVE both sexes. Some people are inclined to sexual attraction to the same sex. Sexual attraction is not love. Sexual acts are not, themselves, love. When the sexual act is performed outside of marriage, that can only be lust. Regardless of the genders of the people involved. Lust is one sin: inappropriate sexual yearning. Almost everyone will be guilty of lust. Giving into the temptation of lust is another sin (fornication). Justifying your lust by saying you love the object of your lust is confusion. You cannot express love by taking someone further from God or further from what is good.
@@princezzpuffypants6287 But how can you mentally compartmentalize it all? Loving family is much different than someone outside of family, of course. That is a given and doesn't enter into my question. Marriage hasn't existed as long as man has. What of the same sex attraction then? It even exists in nature for some creatures. By your logic, then, some people are doomed to a life of self torture for desiring someone of the same sex. Innocently, mind you. People can't be corralled into such living. I don't know. It's all very confusing to me. And I do not desire my same sex. But I have seen friends go through cultural, moral, familial punishment for doing so. I don't think your metaphor actually work here, i agree with you that some of the LGBTQ community commits sinful activities like living a lustful life, but does activites are not necessarily embedded in those people. Your first metaphor talks about a Girl giving her children all the food they want, and that even if with good intentions, will damage them: this can be applied to eating too much because that will cause health problems but it can't be applied to something like homosexuality: you in fact do not point out any damaging activity that NECESSARALY comes with it, this video is a nothing burger. Your other metaphor is even worse in my opinion, transporting it to the situation of Homosexuality you are saying one should refrain of his nature even if that makes him suffer because if he doesn't he will go to hell: but who put hell at the end of that road? God, why would a loving God force someone into an heterosexual relation or celibacy when he is a Gay individual: you gave no reason for this. Then the example you made about the guy with that shirt: how do you know it is knowingly going against a God? He most definetly does not believe in that God, he is doing that because it makes christian go mad and because he honestly believes some of christian beliefs are evil, he most likely is not deliberatly going against something he thinks is good, he most likely is he is going against something he thinks it's evil.

Why is ... pride destructive? Pride wants us to put ourself first, to seek praises for ourself. In the mind of a prideful man, no one is his equal. A prideful man doubts his ability to fail. When we think so highly of ourselves, we cease to listen to reason or to behave rationally. A humble man is gracious. He gives praise to God and gratitude to all who helped him to achieve his goals. He does not forget that he was never alone on his journey. He will accept criticism with grace. He will seek the advice of those who are wiser and more educated than himself.

Yea get debunked

Well to spread the message, I mean it does relate to the same topic.
True Love is Love, but their "Love" is Lust.
I pray and hope that the victims of this ideology find the errors of their ungodly ways and turn to the church.

Love is love really is sex is sex.
It's all about having sex with whomever, whenever, wherever they want.
Nope.
It even exists in nature for some creatures. now I know you guys are going to bring up "make disciples of other nations". that was after the crucifixion, which is odd when he specifically ordered his disciples not to do that.
it's weird you guys are debating each other over "false Christianity" when you hijacked another groups religion and reshaped it to make seem like it was meant for gentiles.
@@happymate8943 , there is no Jew or Gentile in Christianity. Jesus helped the dog. Read Paul, Jesus came FIRST for the Jew and then for the Gentile. Jews were invited first.

There clearly are gentiles in Christianity, especially when all former Jewish practices don't exist in Christianity .
He never came for the gentiles, the goal of the movement was to unite all of Judea. In fact didn't Paul and Peter argue over this?

You’re cool
You missed the mark buddy
Father, true love is Jesus Christ being beaten, tortured and crucified to take the sins of the entire human race on his shoulders and to give us salvation. I don’t know a single LGBTQ who would do that.

normal people: "love is love"

Great. Fantastic, guys. Real classy.
Water is water, but you don't drink from the toilet, eh?
Because “love is love” is a trite tautology that actually communicates a claim that distorts the way God created marriage. I guess you would only know that if you actually listened to us instead of basing your view of our beliefs on stereotypes, but perhaps you just haven’t had the chance to get to know what we believe yet. This video is a great place to start!
But what they mean is “Lust is Love”
@@madsocsci Sure. What's that got to do with love? Are you saying that because you personally don't like men (or women) that the opposite gender is wrong for mostly having reversed preferences than you? Well gay/lesbian people didn't run through a Character Creation process like a videogame where they chose their basic instinctive attractions. They're just attracted to certain point, and that can bloom into love with those people (exactly like everybody else), and that love is love.
@@MrEKOPriest Imagine someone accuses you of only lusting (never loving). Are you convinced by them telling you what you believe?
Probably you've loved.
Certainly lesbian/gay people have loved. Therefore accusing them of only lusting is clearly a bad argument. If that's the best you have against their love, then I apparently nailed it in the original comment, yeah?
There is no Hate like "Christian Love"
I can see accuracy in this statement in Catholicism and certain protestant sects. But this is not the orthodox way. I recommend you watch this video the whole way through, and may god bless you

A good argument but not sufficient. Why is ut destructive??
Anything that leads us away from God in anger and pride is destructive, since the ultimate end of that is our soul’s separation from the true love of God.
I'm sorry you mean why is homosexuality and unbridled sexual depravity destructive? Lol really? Look around bud
Pride looks out for self only. Me, myself, and I.

Why is ... pride destructive?
Pride wants us to put ourself first, to seek praises for ourself. In the mind of a prideful man, no one is his equal. A prideful man doubts his ability to fail. When we think so highly of ourselves, we cease to listen to reason or to behave rationally.
A humble man is gracious. He gives praise to God and gratitude to all who helped him to achieve his goals. He does not forget that he was never alone on his journey. He will accept criticism with grace. He will seek the advice of those who are wiser and more educated than himself.
Thank you Father. I have been struggling with Lust and Lustful thinking. I pray that this sin & burden leaves my life forever. It’s getting easier! God bless! 🙏☦️🩷
