Caleb really impressed me with his attitude. Especially how he dealt with that 262k loss, pushed through to keep his word to his customers and didn’t let the business completely die. I hope this kid sees success 👊👊

Caleb is killing it in many ways , getting these experiences at such an early age is huge. I know it’s been hard but there’s so much time to recover and recoup. There’s no way this guy won’t become successful Simply because he’s not afraid of hard work and most importantly asking for help and actually doing what what’s best for his business. Very smart guy and any customer should be happy with his services . Go get that money CALEB !!!

When you wear a big flashing sign on your back that says " you can easily take advantage of me " you're going to draw in the wrong type of people... But did he really even get taken advatage of? He literally told them they could ask for a refund for anything including the look of his hair... That was moronic and people used what he offered them. You cannot tell someone they can have a refund for any reason and then be uoset when they follow through and request a refund for any reason. no lawn mower/landscaper is going to do a perfect job every single time. You never refund for labor performed. If you cause damages or do a poor job you return and fix it for the customer. You do not give them a refund.

Hey Caleb, if you read this, many of us are proud of you. You're 20 years old and have your own business. You don't quit. You're tough. Hope you rely less on other people's advice in the future, but do consider advice from people who love you and want you to succeed. Something I learned being self-employed was that customers want good, timely service and will pay for it, so you don't have to be the cheapest, just be the best you can be.

We believe in you Caleb. We know your heart is in the right place and we know you want to keep your word always. We also know that initially, you set out to be a good example for your peers, who had a less than stellar stigma attached to their work ethic. You have already proven yourself. You don't have anything else to prove to anyone. This time around ask God, not people, what you are capable of and seek to please Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. He created you and He loves you most. He will never let you down, leave you or forsake you. He will never lead you astray or disappoint you. You can trust Him. You are a very special young man, Caleb. We know that God has big plans for your life. Gpa and I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. You are a determined young man with strong character and integrity. Those are rare and unique qualities to have, especially in today's culture. You make us very proud Caleb. We are so excited to watch you grow into the entrepreneurial young man that God will help you become, in His time and His way. We love you Caleb. Over the last x years you should now have a nice database to sell back into with offers outside of grass cutting that offer you a better roi on your labour costs. Putting the business aside would be great to see you living a more rich life in terms of a good women by your side, more laughs with friends and overall more happiness as money is not the root of happyness. I seriously recommend making a point of doing some travel to other country’s to see how others live and are hairy with little in the way if finances. So many gems behind having a sense of community’s that keeps the head and heart in a good place. I’m based in Australia would be keen to track your progress.

There is no money in regular lawn care. If you mowed 1,000 lawns times 60 bucks a year you have 60,000 pre-expenses and taxes. Hardscaping is where the big money is at. If you compete on lowest price there is always someone cheaper starting up. If you learn to become the best then you hold out for customers not buying on price but more on excellence and skill. They still look at price but number 3 or 4 on list not number 1. If you did 4 bigger jobs a year that each had 50k profit you make 200k. Caleb looks like a strong worker motivated just the energy and focus in wrong place for success. Doing volume requires lots of workers which creates instability with resources. If you are a volume business making 200k profit on 2 million gross and that 10% margin changes to 5% overnight due to unforseen costs you are almost going out of business. Hope it helps commercial real estate owner 20 years in business.

Hiring someone who just closed his own business seems like a bad idea. Especially with how old Caleb is vs. an older person.. if the person was in the same field, you have to worry about him sniping your customers to restart his business. Or them sabotaging Caleb’s business and customer relations out of shear jealousy. I’ve witnessed similar situations in the automotive repair industry. Keep up the hard work Caleb! Don’t forget to pay and take care of yourself as you!

As a man that upkeeps his own property watching this guy mow a yard with a house that has a roof covered in debris triggers me. :). Thats like a ladder and a blower and 15 minutes of work.

This guy needs to figure out his issues. “I went around to everyone asking them if they thought I was good enough” proving something to people you probably don’t like is a terrible mindset

Just started this video, but I’ve seen a couple where he supposedly helping people but I’ve never seen them get any relief. Hopefully this one is different and he actually does help somebody instead of going there to listen to the story in person. Spending money on indeed to find somebody who cuts grass that sounds insane.

Landscaping is not necessary it's a commodity you give dirt cheap prices where you can't make any money mowing already doesn't make a ton of money this is wild listening to this offering refunds like wtf are you thinking. Need to get this company right before talking about different locations

He made alot if mistakes but he’s young he’ll learn & one thing i do respect is his imagination & work ethic, if he puts all of those things in the right places including stops trying to impress others & focuses oh himself, he’s going places.

Keep it up man, really love your drive and work ethic! If I were you I might honestly think about joining Agusta. You would get a ton of support there, and you already are running things in a very similar way to the Agusta model. I saw the mike inspired P1 and things like that. Just a thought!

$37 for an acre is absolutely ridiculous. Even the guy in the truck charges more than that.

Wow I did 120k in my second year now in my 3 year and already double my customer base and it’s just 2 of us. It’s scary how many are calling me with no advertising. Its scary sometimes how fast I’m growing and can find people to work.
