There is nothing wrong with invoker these are just my thoughts. If you want to stay invoker go for Energy shield, but also Life and mana. mana (damage taken as mana before life nodes on the tree, annoint, jewels). 400 es helm. there is a timeless jewel that makes strength give no flat life but instead 1% energy shield per 2 strength. Grim feast lets you 2x your energy shield and recover it consistently.
You are completely incorrect about ...And protect me from grace. That node itself is based off of evasion AND armor not just armor. Physical mitigation itself is fine in POE2, its armor not scaling phys mitigation well that is the problem. For example - my invoker has 80% evasion and 72% physical damage reduction with only 194 armor because of that node. I am EXTREMELY tanky with energy shield on top of that. A simple 1.2k evasion 450ES armor will give you a ton of spirit and defenses that gemling simply can't get.
On top of that you can get CI note and use timeless jewel to get more ES from str instead of life which will help you with your gearing since you dont have to worry about chaos resistances anymore I think Monk version has better scaling but its easier to start with gemling
I read the node which is what you typed and explained what it meant. then i refered to the combined as armour for the rest of it explaining why armour is not good and why the tooltip is misleading. what are you talking about. The point I was trying to make was if you want to run the unique chest for increased attributes it is not a very good chest for the monk nodes. Also tooltip 72% phys reduction is bs. there is a formula where bigger hits make armour less effective. because of this larger healthpool is needed. yes you can do that and should do that with a 1.2k evasion 450 ES and focus on ES using the timeless jewel to get more es. also running grim feast to 2x it during mapping. maybe even run meditation. but i want to run the unique chest.
What do you think about acolyte of chayula for a stat stacking build? I was thinking about trying to build into Chaos immunity and mana leech to leech off of the bell strikes. The issue just seems that gemling and invoker fair better earlier, and i dont even know if Mana Leech or CI will even be plausable. Any thoughts?
can't leech off bell because it converts from phys to elemental per elemental on the bell. at full elements you have 60% phys convert to light, 60% phys convert to cold, 30% phys covert to fire. there is no good way to really leech phys damage is too low (in my opinion)
@GameyMcJamesFace ah I see. So, really, the only viable options in the tree are the added chaos damage, chaos resist, and into the breach. I think the chaos resist is pretty good QoL but definitely doesn't outweigh the better options on gemling or even invoker. I'm probably gonna have to go back to the drawing board
I tried both. Invoker is much more stronger than gemling. I use COS with eye of storm and crit base. One shot 82 pinnacle boss easily. Crit base is the end game best choice. Lucky hit stacker is just lame and TH-camr and streamers still doing it with no understanding and just copy and paste. I tried both. With Same gear ,crit base have 2.5x dmg and with bell as main dmg for bossing. Every boss is one hit. Cos eye of winter is just for crit boost.
weird that people talking about oneshotting every boss in the game asa monk, and yet all i see on youtube is slow af boss killing xD check out captainlance archmage or ranger bossing if u wanna see oneshotting arbiter 4
@@SkillRampagethere are monks with cheesy build and cos eye of winter that procs the belt instanly for a gazillon damage too, kinda bad to go crit with pillar of the caged god with 10% crit base, but yes crit damage scales way too much with 65% on weapon is just all crit multi on tree x 1.65 and when you stack 5-6 jewels too it is too much😂
this dude doesn't know he can speed up videos. LAWL. its almost like I am talking at a speed so non native english speakers can understand and the closed captions and translations work.
I opened the video with hey guys i am switching because of these reasons because people asked the reasons. did you expect it not to be weighted toward the thing I am switching into? 🤦🤦🤦

yeah and at high end most people are going for mind over matter with large mana pools and CI(makes you immune to chaos)
@@GameyMcJamesFace yeah I've seen some people talking about that. I might have to look into that and just have some mana recovery. 🤔

Why hello there exile!
this dude speaks at 0.75 speed naturally

Bro he’s never played either character
Can you post a TLDR in a timestamp. Like conclusion?
It is a 6 mins video, man. I don't think a PoE player is in that rush to not watch it and actually understand why one or the other. Jesus Christ...
Poor thing needs to watch 6min video.
Tiktok is another app my dude
Kinda onesided presentation. :D
