I am seriously considering getting me one as I live in a small town and could easily get all around. Problem is the more reviews I read the more confused I get. Thank you for your unbiased and put.
Only if you want to charge it do it outside. Also if you want to store in the compartment in a bus store the battery in fire proof container a lot of fires caused
Both myself and my wife have bikes like this with normal tires for about 10 years, my wife is disabled and cannot pedal a normal bike. They have served us well and fold up in the RV.
Congrats you got the new bike! You put in the hard work sharing these informative videos. With the power and range of this bike, I could easily climb hills, thread in the forest, and store it under the shed outdoors. A great model for my weak knees.⚡⚡
Scott thanks for the review of what looks to me as a very good choice since I tip the scales at 210 and am 5/11 tall. The range is also very impressive! All the best!
I have two ebikes both are rad, the one is a fat tire folder & the other is a full size 19" commuter ebike, and to be honest they are both very heavy bikes, 68lbs without the battery. I'm only saying if your older like me 65+ . It helps having the power assist for riding on hills, but man you better be strong to get it in your car after riding. I seen folks use a storage container to help get it into the back seat without dirtying up your car. And a bike rack, well they are expensive for ebikes & have to be rated for the weight of the bike or it could become a missal on the highway...yikes. I bought a bike rack & omg it's so hard to get the bike on it & it weighs almost what the bike weighs. I didn't like my bike with the fat tire, the commuter for riding streets & trails where I live is much easier to handle & performance with the bigger wheels is superior to the fat tire. It's not a motocross bike so look at the wiring & make sure the electrical connection are protected from rain or you could be biking home with human power only.
We like our e-bikes but take care that you have the system off if the petals activate motion. The bike can dump you if not careful. But, riding is great.
I am looking at getting one myself at 69 YO. (6-2" 300lb) Now my legs are swelling up increasing my weight (blood pressure med) I am needing something to get around on. So, it's this or a 4 wheel scooter/mobility devise.
Just put mine together and made a video…..I feel like it needs a lot of adjustments out of the box. Pas 1 and pas 2 is very weak, then you get to 3-4-5 and it feels like every other e-bike I own. I was able to adjust the pas levels on 1 and 2 To little higher and it gave it a bit more “kick” im only 25 miles into mine so need more time to really post an opinion.
Was that one of your clients on I-75 Northbound in Kentucky that the engine was on fire today? (Saturday). Grey coach with a really long car enclosed car hauler behind it.
If I buy a new seat for this, am I able to still push the seat up to remove the battery like with the seat that it comes with…or would I have to remove the whole seat post to remove the battery
70 pounds or 30 kilos on the bike ? I think I'd do my back in trying to lift that into the back of a car. Looks interesting but too heavy for use for me.
Please, please, please be careful when charging. Do the research about the dangers and the many daily fires caused by these batteries. Enjoy them but be smart as I know you are!
Make a special fireproof area in your shop to charge and store the batteries. They burn extremely hot and fast once they are in runaway mode and basically cannot be put out. They have to run their course and burn out.
A big high 5 to you and for all of us 300+ lb guys. I never miss any of your videos....for years.......Russell D.
It goes up faster than some buses did on their first visit 😅
Kelly told me i was faster than some buses too when she shot the video of me ;)

This one is a great one for getting around on. Are you in a hilly area? Flat ground areas you can get a less powerful and inexpensive model.
@@BusGreaseMonkey. Flat budget $1900.
Pretty neat 👌 ☮️
The U7 model now ships out with a 20AH battery.

I didn't know you have stuntmen on your channel ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊

Yep, that was my favorite of the bunch, for sure. I made it up the hill on that one without pedaling!
I like the chain guard built into sprocket.

enjoy riding u r new e-bike Scott, keep the clips coming
a fine example for other seniors GM. thanks🎉
If the shipping did not double the price to NZ I would be looking at one myself. It looks a beaut bro. Safe travels
Everyone is getting e-bikes. I just got a Revv1 and absolutely love it

Definitely one to keep an eye on. Prices are coming down on Ebikes now.
It's great you are using an e-bike to get around on the property. Charge the battery outside if possible and using solar.
We like our e-bikes but take care that you have the system off if the petals activate motion. The bike can dump you if not careful. But, riding is great.
Thanks for your thoughts

Impressive little machine.
Hey Scott, i am thinking of getting one of these ebikes. I will watch the rest of the video to see if it makes it up Chert Hill.

No that was a sticks and staples motorhome that i saw a photo of.
Cool bike!
How much range is left after a run down and up the hill?
Would it make it to town and back?
A lot. Down is only brakes required
Pretty neat
Is there any trick\tip to putting the chain on? That part got skipped.
If I buy a new seat for this, am I able to still push the seat up to remove the battery like with the seat that it comes with…or would I have to remove the whole seat post to remove the battery
How fast will it go down hill? That is most certainly not a jab at your weight btw, just an honest question.
Wow!
LOL the instructions go to the side where you can consult them if you can't assemble it without them.
I think that bus needs bigger injectors. Still there's no smoke😂
How do you turn on the headlight

Wow I couldn't do that

I’m very concerned about that too! These battery fires are horrific.
Make a special fireproof area in your shop to charge and store the batteries. They burn extremely hot and fast once they are in runaway mode and basically cannot be put out. They have to run their course and burn out.
Agreed! He did say LG batteries? Most fire failure of any battery made🔥🔥🔥
Make sure you store your electric bikes inside, especially when recharging. They burn nicely.
Why would you find the need to say something like this?
@@BusGreaseMonkey Unfortunately because it is a problem. Research how many lithium-ion battery fires there are. Not good.
Yes but you said make sure i park it inside clearly wishing us harm.
@@BusGreaseMonkey No, that was sarcasm. I hope you leave those things outside. You have worked too hard and long to lose it by a known problem.
May God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
