I'm barely starting the video but wanted to say: THIS is the reason why I follow you Kathryn, the lengths you go to make these type of videos, the dedication, time, planning and effort you put in these, is absolutely remarkable! Just wow, thank you!! Me and my 36DDD's salute and thank you!!!
There is no one on youtube doing such thorough reviews on women's active wear. Thank you for your all your effort, you will reach a million subscribers in no time!
The panache underwire sports bra is my ride or die! 10/10 and it’s so comfortable that I wear it for normal daily wear, but just set the hooks and straps tighter when running
This is the first and only video I’ve seen of yours and I’m now a subscriber after 45 minutes because you went so into depth and I greatly appreciate it
Loving this new run content! I watch your reviews bc I love how honest and detailed you are, but I'm definitely more of a cardio girlie than a lifting girlie so it's nice to get your take on some running gear!
Being a long time runner, the other piece of advice to help with the ‘bounce’ is to run without bouncing. Runners aim to be as smooth as possible without wasting energy on up and down movement if that makes sense. So your style of running will also affect how your body feels while doing it 👌👌
I've been running 10+ years and I have loved all my Lululemon high impact bras! My first Lulu bra lasted about 6 years without any signs of wear or tear. Right now, I'm really enjoying the Energy bra for B-DDD cups. I haven't noticed much chafing, only a little when you're going 8 miles+. For reference I'm usually in between a C and D. Definitely worth trying on if you haven't already!
Loved this video and I really appreciated the amount of work that would have gone into to making it. I'm a 32D runner in need of some new high impact bras so this was very timely.
This is so great! I’m a huge wearer of underwire sports bras. I literally just bought the Syrokon blue bra last week and I love it. I recommend you try the brand Wacoal as well, they’re in the 70$ range but I frequently find their older bras on sale for 30-40$. They are super high quality and built for many sizes.
Btw, they actually make the Panche without the underwire. I have that one and for someone larger than DD it is extremely supportive (it is the only bra on this list that makes my size).
As a teen who plays soccer this was really helpful. I love how open you are with talking about issues that women face and how honest you are. You're an inspiration ❤
Being a 44 DDD girly I can’t wear most of these so I stick with lane Bryant but I appreciate all the work you’ve done and I’ll look into some of these as a potential!!
YES FINALLY! Always struggle to find high-impact sports bras for running. Thank you for this great review. Would also love a full crz yoga brand review!
I love my collection of Yvette high impact bras for running and CrossFit! My BuffBunny bras are cute but honestly I never reach for them for my workouts. Same for my SheFit bra- it’s fine but not as comfortable for me. Can’t wait to try some of these you’ve mentioned!
How helpful to find alternatives to my favorite shefit bra!! Thank you!! Ide also wonder how long the other bras will stand up to wear and tear. I have had some she fit bras for over five years and they are still in great shape and supportive. With other bras I get a couple of years because of the materials wearing down etc.
I am so with you with the difficulty hooking bras in the back. I always have to hook front and twist. I use Syrokan adjustable strap front zip bra for runs, but it's very industrial looking like the Shefit. I love the look of the Knix and Panache, may have the check those out.
Yes! Love this series, I have also recently started running and the cute thin strap bras I considered a staple for my workouts are not working. I have some thick strap bras from Ptula and buffbunny that work great, don’t think I’ll be purchasing cute thin ones anymore.
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been running for 20 years and I’ve never seen a video like this. I run in the buff bunny bra and I absolutely love it. I love the coverage and all the pockets!
It always interesting when people try on these fast fashion brands and call their bras “high impact”…I consider “high impact” supportive enough to run in. Great video on these though!!
So excited for more active wear for running reviews! I struggle with higher compression leggings for running, not fitting both my hips and waist. Looking forward to a running leggings video!
Most bras in the US are compression bras aka smush them down. If you ever want more like the first (blue) Syrokan, look for an “encapsulation” sports bra, which are more popular in the DD+ bra communities. Happy to see an affordable option for some of the size range of busts. In the past, I wore Freya encapsulation sports bras and they don’t move at all (but very expensive!).
I’m so excited you gave Knix a try! They are my holy grail brand for all things bras and underwear. Highly recommend their period underwear too if that is something you are interested in trying.
I dont even need running bras; I just watched to support the channel. 🩷 You are soooo thorough. I love it, great job! As a side note, for the Brooks bra I just couldnt get over the 'grandma' looking bra straps in the back lol. But since it was supportive, I definitely dont blame anyone for buying it.
Suprised not to see Shock Absorber in this review. I’m 36-38DDD, and the bounce is super tamed. Although for the most part they look like tactical gear, but I don’t mind since they do the job.
Lululemon fast and free 6inch shorts and leggings have the best sweat wicking, great stretch, no chaffing, and so many pockets just not the best looking but grab for every long run.
FINALLY. The only thing that could make this more perfect is if you were my exact band and cup size 😂 but anyway, I’m rolling DDs here and it’s been …. Challenging. Most brands say their stuff is high impact , until you actually try it for impact. I mean what do they think high impact means?!?! I’m teaching hiit and high energy cardio and have been for years and I’ve been waiting on brands to finally get with the program. Sometimes I still even double up bras. I WILL be purchasing and trying some of these. THANK YOU
You save me from making so many workout apparel mistakes!! And it's a definite bonus we are the same size!! If you ever could try Born Primitive, that would be amazing. Just for an honest review!!
Thanks for putting this together! I started running last winter, and have yet to find the perfect bra. I prefer adjustable bras with hooks in the back. When I’m all sweaty, I want it off quickly 🤣 I think I’m going to give the Knix bra a try. I really liked the look of that one.
Underarmor is my go to for running sports bras. It was interesting seeing how well Brooks would do. I’d checkout Brooks or On sports bras if they weren’t so expensive.
Runner here also ... And buff bunny fan.. their Rosa bra in Elysium is really great support, or when they did it in bossy print for the sand collection
I’ve used the panache sports bras for years now and I like them, the more recent ones have started to make me chafe though I wasn’t sure if it was a change in the bra construction over the years or if my body had changed. But if I run multiple times a week and wear these my sternum under my breasts in the cennter will start to rub. It’s such a bummer because I’m a 38 D and these have been my go tos for years only recently started to have issues with them. Thanks for all the other recommendations though! Going to try some of these others out cuz of the chafing issue.
Thankyou so much for this review. I just bought a rebounder trampoline and I need a high impact sports bra. I want one thats easy to put on and one that provides little bounce. I think I might purchase the blue underwire one that you tried on.
Why brands make non-adjustable versions is beyond me! I’d also like to see a slick, fast, technical adjustment solution, for example from Adidas, where they incorporate those pull cords and locks, like they used for Adidas and Salomon sports shoes. It would be fairly easy to make (just not cheap). Great video as always! Best wishes ❤
The under armour infinity is literally my favorite long run bra. Before I lost some weight and started running more miles, it was the catalyst but I find that since the hook and eye closure isn’t padded, that it was rubbing and digging into my skin and no amount of body armor could fix the problem so I didn’t replace my catalysts when I un-grew them. I do have some very nice prints and colors in the infinity though, despite how unflattering under armour’s leggings are, I do think they bring out some neat prints and it’s always nice when they use them in their infinity bras.
UA infinity is a lovely bra, but for my 36F large fits the bust, but bands too wide, and medium cups are too small. So fare best bras (for me) for E or F is triumph triaction.
I love that Lulu bra, it's my go to for other activities too because it's actually cute and comes in so many colors I can feel confident without a shirt for yoga or lifting too. I wish some of the higher impact bras were in more colors and a little less industrial looking most of the time, might try the knix but really want something that's not black, white or nude -_-
I really want to try the SheFit. I love how you can adjust the band, they just don't make a band tight enough with a big enough bust for me at the moment, and seeing how the small fits you (where you still appear to have a tiny bit of quad-boob) I know for a fact I'll spill out of the Luxe.
I started running and I have a few bras that just squish me and boy howdy can they restrict my breathing. There has been times when I pulled the band away from my body to allow my ribs to move easier.. This video is perfectly timed. ❤❤
My go-to no bounce bras are VS knockout and adidas high support bras (they have a few online). I tried the Lulu high support energy bra but I didn't like it - the straps are always twisted when I first put it on, and they are so hard to fix them by myself!
I appreciate all the work you put into this video. Your videos are very thorough. However, I think it's important to mention if the cup sizes are US based or UK based or whatever country the brand originates. There's quite a difference between a US G cup and UK G cup in which the former is 2 sizes smaller. I may have commented about this in your last bra video.
i like the BB Wicked, but for any other activity (yoga) the velcro can undo 🙈! for running it's perfect, i don't find that i bounce too much in it. the phone pocket on that one is the selling point
I bought a Knix bra a few years ago. It started out tight; then it literally continued to stretch out so that each time I wore it got bigger and bigger. Would love to hear you report back on how yours performs over time.
I have a couple of bras from M&S like the blue Syrokan, I also put a stretchy bra top over that just to improve the look. My girles arnt moving even full out running.
Color me SHOCKED that the most "regular" looking bra ended up being the most supportive. Never would have thought that based on how it looks. Question: do the bras with the velcro adjustable straps wear and tear at the inside of your tanks/tshirts and cause pilling? I could see that being a possibility at the ends of the straps if you need to crank them tight, and there's extra strap hanging out past... if that makes sense.
I’m a 36HH and wear Shock Absorber. They strap me down in a way that means nothing is moving, you could set a bomb off next to me and they’re not moving. Definitely uncomfortable, but choice is limited at my size and I take ballet class that involves big jumps, so needs must.
I’m always looking for high support so thanks. Buffbunny shouldn’t really be included since their larger sizes almost always sells out on launch day and Heidi never restocks.
Im trying to find the PERFECT sports bra for my mom❤️ its so hard tho because i have her measurements and usual size but they never equate the the same size on size charts!
Completely agree with your reviews and final "bra awards", LOL! I'm a 34G (UK) and the Syrokan Underwire is, by far, the best sports bra I've ever had - definitely recommend it for people with voluminous breasts. The only downside might be that buying at the official website can be rather expensive for some (my country has no in-store options and the shipping is a tad over the top, meh!). I bought mine on Amazon, though, and would say it's an extremely good investment!
I may be a card carrying member of the IBTC but I hate when they jiggle when running, I knew if you did a running bra review it would be in-depth and as comprehensive as possible. Thank you!
I have the same problem with the lululemon bra every single time!!! I wear 34E(DDD) and I am fighting the bra so hard to even put on one hook considering I am pretty flexible. I just give up and reach for other ones😢 And thank you sooooo much for making this video!!!!! It is so in depth and informative!! Now I can go shopping for new ones 😂
If only I’d had this video before my breast reduction 😂 That syrokan would’ve been a great everyday option considering I pretty much only wore sports bras.
Unfortunately the link you listed for the syrokan underwire is not the one that you reviewed. It’s similar, but its racer back only. I want the one you reviewed as I hate racer back. I hate struggling to get these tight bras over my head.
Love your video! I have difficulty with zippers and clasp on my sports bra but most high support bra's have that. I would recommend Adidas FASTIMPACT LUXE RUN HIGH-SUPPORT BH which has different. I also like Buffbunny Candy Wrap sport bra. NIKE swoosh bra has pockets for the phone but only has medium support.
@KathrynMueller Maybe you can do a video about running accessories? Have you tried running belt? My favourite is Flipbelt zipper, I always use it when running home from work 😊
Brooks is the besssst but you didn’t get the most popular models I’ve seen? I think there’s one called Juno with Velcro attachments at the front strap. You might really like that one. I actually think the white syrokan one you did after is a duuuupe of that one
Panache and Brooks (formerly Moving Comfort) are so far, my favourite sports bras. I absolutely hate trying to peel a sweaty sports bra off of me so a back or front closure are a must because they don't get rolled up between my boobs and shoulders.
Brooks came out with almost same design of bb wicked bra "brooks pocket bra" before bb did it and its way more comfortable and no chaffing compared to the wicked bra which i wanted to love for the pockets but the velcro band on a run more than a 5k is unbearable. I have bras i love for eunning but not for long runs that is a very short list of bras sadly.
So, i wear the shefit while lifting, just to keep the girls in place and prevent uni-boob. Which one would be the best for weightlifting, keeping them in place during a workout and preventing uniboob, because im sick of the shefit 😂
Aw i appreciate this so much!! Thank you 🥹
There is no one on youtube doing such thorough reviews on women's active wear. Thank you for your all your effort, you will reach a million subscribers in no time!
Aw thank you so much!!
The slow mo side view was so helpful. Thank you for the 2 different angles.
So glad to hear! Thanks for the feedback 😊
You are fantastic at reviewing things! You think of all the variables, how to test them, and how to demonstrate the tests and findings. Brava!
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Running accessories too! I used to run with a belt but vests are much more stable IMO.
Yeah I have both now! The vest is definitely less annoying
Me with my double aa’s watching this, because I like your videos 😂
Thank you for being here 🥰🙌🏼
relatable lol I could go running with like a normal bra if needed
Same, I'm just crocheting while I listen 😂
Same 😂
Lucky you ❤
The panache underwire sports bra is my ride or die! 10/10 and it’s so comfortable that I wear it for normal daily wear, but just set the hooks and straps tighter when running

Definitely!! For the purposes of this video it helped to go a little more vertical to really see how the bras would hold up 😊
@@KathrynMueller we love how you think of everything! 🥰
That’s kind of true but an under desk treadmill is not designed for smooth movement 😂
Kathryn-Thank you for doing this !so happy to see you have taken up running as well ☺️
I've been running 10+ years and I have loved all my Lululemon high impact bras! My first Lulu bra lasted about 6 years without any signs of wear or tear.

Thank you for sharing that’s great news it’s been so durable! Is that different than the lululemon bra I tried here?
Loved this video and I really appreciated the amount of work that would have gone into to making it. I'm a 32D runner in need of some new high impact bras so this was very timely.
I have been so excited for this video. Thank you for putting in the work. You’re truly so dedicated to your craft!
Thank you so much 🫶🏻
This is so great!
Thank you! Wacoal does great regular bras so definitely will give their sports bras a try!
The quality & production of this video 👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you 🥹
The video I’ve been waiting for for years!! I’m also a 32DD so this is sooo useful. Thanks for another great video!
Btw, they actually make the Panche without the underwire. I have that one and for someone larger than DD it is extremely supportive (it is the only bra on this list that makes my size).
Great news!! Thank you!
I've been waiting for this! Thank you for putting in the work to test these out.
Recently picked up beach running and you're correct. High-support gym bras are not the same for outdoors.
As a teen who plays soccer this was really helpful. I love how open you are with talking about issues that women face and how honest you are. You're an inspiration ❤
Runner here 👋 love watching you discover running gear and the different *needs* runners have (even though I’m a member of the ITBC!)
Yess it’s so different!! I’m loving it getting to experience this and find new brands that work!
Being a 44 DDD girly I can’t wear most of these so I stick with lane Bryant but I appreciate all the work you’ve done and I’ll look into some of these as a potential!!
Very excited for the running series!!
THANK YOU!!! This was a much needed video! Q the chalk!!! Took this video to another level!!!! You’re truly the G. O. A. T. 🐐
Thank you so much 🫶🏻🫶🏻
This is soooo helpful! I need a bra asap for CrossFit! Thank you for this review friend! Can't wait to try the under armor and the SYROKAN!
YES FINALLY! Always struggle to find high-impact sports bras for running. Thank you for this great review.
Would also love a full crz yoga brand review!
of course!! and thats a great idea i have been meaning to try more of their items!
The front zip Knix Catalyst bra is incredible too!
I just got that one! excited to try!
I love my collection of Yvette high impact bras for running and CrossFit! My BuffBunny bras are cute but honestly I never reach for them for my workouts. Same for my SheFit bra- it’s fine but not as comfortable for me. Can’t wait to try some of these you’ve mentioned!
Can’t wait for the running content! The Knix Zip Front Catalyst is my favorite running bra. Worth a try if you liked the regular one. 🏃♀️
Will do!! Thank you!
This was so helpful! I really appreciate how detailed you were :D
Thank you for putting everything in one video and tried all kind of running bra !!! I will definitely come back here and watching again ❤
Yes! Love this series, I have also recently started running and the cute thin strap bras I considered a staple for my workouts are not working. I have some thick strap bras from Ptula and buffbunny that work great, don’t think I’ll be purchasing cute thin ones anymore.
Thank you for all your work! I’m another runner who’s been watching your videos for years loving whenever you reviewed a performance legging!
I wish there were more performance leggings out there!!
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been running for 20 years and I’ve never seen a video like this. I run in the buff bunny bra and I absolutely love it. I love the coverage and all the pockets!
Thank you so much 🥹 I had a lot of fun with it- and found some good bras!!
I am not a fan of the wicked bra but I really enjoy running in the storm bra.

Happy to see an affordable option for some of the size range of busts. In the past, I wore Freya encapsulation sports bras and they don’t move at all (but very expensive!).
I tried a regular bra from freya recently and loved it so will definitely want to check out their sports bras!! Thank you!
I’m so excited you gave Knix a try! They are my holy grail brand for all things bras and underwear. Highly recommend their period underwear too if that is something you are interested in trying.
Stunning job, Kathryn!❤
Thank you so much!
I dont even need running bras; I just watched to support the channel. 🩷
You are soooo thorough.
Although for the most part they look like tactical gear, but I don’t mind since they do the job.
surprisingly I did not get that one suggested!! but Ill have to look!
Thank you for this!! Awesome job. Im buying the Knix and Syrokon!
Lululemon fast and free 6inch shorts and leggings have the best sweat wicking, great stretch, no chaffing, and so many pockets just not the best looking but grab for every long run.
Going to be getting those for my shorts review!!
FINALLY. The only thing that could make this more perfect is if you were my exact band and cup size 😂 but anyway, I’m rolling DDs here and it’s been …. Challenging. Most brands say their stuff is high impact , until you actually try it for impact. I mean what do they think high impact means?!?!

That’s a great one!!
I would love to see your comparison of the regular Knix catalyst bra vs the catalyst front zip bra!
Girl omg u did the whole science experiment!!! The chalk ‼️ Thank you so much!
I tried!! Thank you!
Underarmor is my go to for running sports bras. It was interesting seeing how well Brooks would do. I’d checkout Brooks or On sports bras if they weren’t so expensive.
@28:14 Kathryn: Peach, do you have to be here?
Peach: yes!
Girl runner here! Thanks for this video and the ones to come! 🏃♀
Thanks for watching!!🫶🏻
Runner here also ... And buff bunny fan.. their Rosa bra in Elysium is really great support, or when they did it in bossy print for the sand collection

I love your videos. Your vibe is just serious, honest, but peach is just star here hehehe, love see her here and there❤
Thank you!! Peach is such a star🥰
Thankyou so much for this review. I just bought a rebounder trampoline and I need a high impact sports bra. I want one thats easy to put on and one that provides little bounce. I think I might purchase the blue underwire one that you tried on.

This review is everything!!!
I really want to try the SheFit. I love how you can adjust the band, they just don't make a band tight enough with a big enough bust for me at the moment, and seeing how the small fits you (where you still appear to have a tiny bit of quad-boob) I know for a fact I'll spill out of the Luxe.

I’m a Lulu Energy bra fan through and through but I agree that some mornings are more challenging than others when getting it done up 😂 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
Love you!! Never leave 😭❤
🥹❤️
Ian always makes me laugh 😂
i like the BB Wicked, but for any other activity (yoga) the velcro can undo 🙈! for running it's perfect, i don't find that i bounce too much in it.
the phone pocket on that one is the selling point
I bought a Knix bra a few years ago. It started out tight; then it literally continued to stretch out so that each time I wore it got bigger and bigger. Would love to hear you report back on how yours performs over time.
I am actually exchanging for a smaller size because I think the band is too wide for me!
I have a couple of bras from M&S like the blue Syrokan, I also put a stretchy bra top over that just to improve the look. My girles arnt moving even full out running.
Been waiting for this one!!!!
I am a small C cup but I’m super sensitive to any bounce motion, so even though not BTC this is helpful for me!
if they bounce they need support!! glad this could help! :)
I’m always looking for high support so thanks. Buffbunny shouldn’t really be included since their larger sizes almost always sells out on launch day and Heidi never restocks.
now that you’re running please make a running shorts video!! i need to find good ones
Yep that’s next!!
have you tried Athleta's Train Free? it's one of my favorites! and the come in A-C and D-DD sizes.
I haven’t but I will check it out!!

I think support is a good idea for any bust!! so glad you liked the review :)
Wow! Exciting video 🎉🎉
I have the same problem with the lululemon bra every single time!!! I wear 34E(DDD) and I am fighting the bra so hard to even put on one hook considering I am pretty flexible. I just give up and reach for other ones😢
And thank you sooooo much for making this video!!!!! It is so in depth and informative!! Now I can go shopping for new ones 😂
I’m glad I’m not alone!! I was struggling so much 😂 thank you!
If only I’d had this video before my breast reduction 😂 That syrokan would’ve been a great everyday option considering I pretty much only wore sports bras.
I don't run very often but I kind of want that blue one to wear as a regular bra 😂 do you think it will be uncomfortable?
Awesome review!!!!
Unfortunately the link you listed for the syrokan underwire is not the one that you reviewed. It’s similar, but its racer back only. I want the one you reviewed as I hate racer back. I hate struggling to get these tight bras over my head.
Look at the description links, it’s there and I confirmed it’s correct. Sometimes TH-cam adds shopping things that aren’t exactly right
Love your video!
Love these suggestions thank you!!
@KathrynMueller Maybe you can do a video about running accessories? Have you tried running belt? My favourite is Flipbelt zipper, I always use it when running home from work 😊
Finally a running bra review 🎉🎉
Such a helpful video, thank you!!
Brooks is the besssst but you didn’t get the most popular models I’ve seen? I think there’s one called Juno with Velcro attachments at the front strap. You might really like that one. I actually think the white syrokan one you did after is a duuuupe of that one
They discontinued the Juno 😢. I still look on ebay and posh for new/good condition Juno's. Very mad at brooks for that.
Panache and Brooks (formerly Moving Comfort) are so far, my favourite sports bras. I absolutely hate trying to peel a sweaty sports bra off of me so a back or front closure are a must because they don't get rolled up between my boobs and shoulders.
This is awesome, thanks!
... I think on the Brook's bra they mean that size fits F and FF.
I don’t workout but I love watching your reviews.. Your thoroughness thoroughly pleases my autistic brain lol
CRZ Flex Bra is very nice. Very suitable for your bust. :-)
Anyone know which walking/running pad she uses?
Here! amzn.to/3MM3DYm
So, i wear the shefit while lifting, just to keep the girls in place and prevent uni-boob. Which one would be the best for weightlifting, keeping them in place during a workout and preventing uniboob, because im sick of the shefit 😂
I'd try the Lulu, love it for lifting!
@@rachelsmith9039 thank you!!
