His body was still in shut down after the liver shot knockdown moments before. If you've ever taken a liver shot like that, you would understand. I was 13 in the gym when I took my first liver shot ko. And my 20 year old brother broke my nose sparring in that same gym when I was 14 lol

Kirill doesn’t look experienced. Somehow I’ve seen him fighting in the cage.
Nguyen seemed to be more calm and compact with his stance, waiting for openings to punish Kiril and neuter his offensive manuevers.
Nguyen also beat him on the stamina game, about 65% through the fight you can tell Kiril is noticeably more tired out than Nguyen, didn't help that Kiril was way more active with his stance, constantly bouncing on his toes...
Pretty cool fight, love ONE specially the commentators.

Why was Nguyen so cautious in throwing even when he had Kirill hurt? Seemed he could have finished the fight sooner but dragged it out.
Well the way I see it. He was being cautious because you never know. A wild overhand could end it all.

Running with your hands down is never a good defensive move equally the “loose” attack approach is fine for surprising your opponents but don’t include it in your defensive strategy. Krill looks fundamentally well skilled but no ring IQ.
