During one of my most recent drafts I drew the absolute magical christmas land! turn 2: Portent Tracker turn 3: Blighted Burgeoning turn 4: Etali turn 5: Vorinclex (the old one) turn 6: transform Etali without taking damage and still have enough mana left to run out a Heliod I felt so sorry for my opponent but at the same time I was having such a blast...
Progenitor Exarch and Volcanic Spite both have the odd property of higher winrates when splashed in UB than when played on-color. So many directions to choose from with Arena pods still so soft this late in the format!
I've managed to companion Lurrus once and went 7-0 super fast. However it felt like it would have almost been better to have lurrus in the deck rather than in the command zone, as the deck was so aggressive that paying 3 to put him in your hand was almost never the play.
4:18 Can someone explain why Nummy keeps avoiding Shatter the Source? It's a top tier removal spell in this format and clearly the best quick at that moment
Shatter the Source has a D+ GIH winrate per 17Lands. Actual top-tier removal spells would be Deadly Derision, Ephara's Dispersal, Collective Nightmare, Merciless Repurposing, Volcanic Spite, and Final Flourish.
My favourite One Punch Man spin-off!

Nice aggro deck! Love the efficient plays you made in 55:53
Lol, when Kenji said, "Let's hate draft Final Flourish and make someone laugh" my mind auto-completed his addendum.
At 38:30, you could have played the Preening Champion to give the Cavalier First Strike and avoided having to trade at all.

Only good players know how to effectively splash good cards, meanwhile the people playing these on colour could be of any skill level.
Looked like a sweet W/G Incubate deck was there for the taking…but I’m long past the point of doubting Kenji’s choices in any given draft.
Yeah - I’m like ‘oh no - I’d be doing something different here - crap!’
first game play the cat and then dont play a creature and use the hexproffers to save cat so you could play 2 creatures next turn.
Thoughts in G1 of holidng Saiba over playing a card from the yard? Obviously super sus but might have been worth
Absolutely bonkers first three picks.
Numot, the "Two drops only IS Fine" nummy

The absolute disrespect of green makes me wish I could magically see what everyone else drafted cause WHAT was going on?
Love this deck!

they're easy to pick up and I don't usually want more than 1, maybe 2, anyway

And pile on
Dude was so high during rhis, love to see it
W/B and never look back.

pog
P. Champ over knight in pack 2 couldn’t of been right had like 6 2-drops at that point
Don't underestimate the set's mythic common.
