this game's got the most spectacular introductions to any baseball video games I have played, especially in late 1997 when this game was released, there was so much awesomeness to this, anyways, one aspect of it is the introduction to a game, and here are all of them. (this is recorded with the PS1 version of the game, unfortunately I am no longer able to run the game in modern windows, but they are the same) - เกม
Brought back so many memories...the funny thing is that many of those stadiums don't even exist anymore...
Like The Kingdome and Milwaukee County Stadium. If I'm correct, I was told Miller Park was built right next to County Stadium.

Greatest baseball video game intros ever. The way they used sound effects to give you the feel of flying over was spectacular and for 1997-1998 the graphics are quite compelling!
As a Canadian, I’m so glad they had our national anthem in both English and French.
I also noticed that depending on the city, the singers had a specific sound that represented that region.
Texas, Atlanta and Houston all had country-style singers, Detroit had a Motown style singer and New York had an opera singer.
San Diego seemed to me to have the most rousing national anthem.
And man, do I miss the old Tiger Stadium!!
I could really go for a Lobster Cola right about now...

Never knew Olympic Stadium had a tram/elevator that went up and down the building. Montreal needs to get a team again
They are now the Nationals, they won a World Series in 2019.

The Reds stadium may be called Cinergy Field in this game and officially before it was imploded, but it'll always be remembered as Riverfront Stadium. For some reason, it still holds a special place for me even though it was a cookie cutter that looked a cereal bowl with mold on the bottom

Used to go to riverfront stadium as a kid. Not much to it but stayed jumping, good teams back then
Couldn’t get some of the rights. Still a great feature. Especially growing up and this was cutting edge at the time
Absolutely loved the Triple Play series from 98 to 2000. Had them on PC, and the intros and music were some of my favorite parts. Thanks for uploading this!

I'll take a Lobster Cola, a couple Dodd's Hot Dogs, and front row seats at Coors Field.
Riverfront. Three Rivers. Tiger Stadium. The Murph. Candlestick. The Vet. The original Yankee Stadium. I miss them all. Thank God for Fenway, Wrigley and Dodger Stadium ...the three oldest parks in the MLB.

God I use to love this game. The nostalgia vibes hits hard here. I really enjoyed it when the National Anthem singer puts some extra sauce in the end that one of the players jumps in excitement
Love how each of the national anthems are specifically tailored to the city/region of the team.
The American stadiums play The Star-Spangled Banner, while the Canadian stadiums play O Canada.
That's what I liked about it. It was very unique.

Not only that, the specific style of the anthem sung matches the city it’s in (i.e. O Canada in French for Montreal, a country-style version of the Star Spangled Banner for Texas and Houston, operatic style for the Yankees, etc.)
Simply an outstanding upload. I could not remember the title of this game. After Googling "baseball video games of the 90's" I found it. What I always did remember from playing this game in college, high as a kite, were the amazing stadium fly-overs. And here they all are. Ohh the 90's. Awesome job man.

That part in the intro when is time to the Turner Field, and sounds this lines of the anthem says ¨In the home of the Braves¨ yes in deed. xD

97 & 98 were the last true great baseball games in my eyes.
the best way to be introduced to the San Diego Padres as a 9 year old kid. It's been rough riding ever since but what an intro to mlb...

Thanks for uploading this. I would usually say the MVP Baseball 2005 was the greatest baseball game made, BUT this game has always been amazing to me. The stadium intros amazed me then, and still do to this day. Nothing can top this. Nothing. Nostalgia has hit me right in the feels after watching this.... and of course, Go Braves!

Chork is the taste that nature forgot. Also available in chork light.
Dunno why, but the explosion sound at the start of the flybys and the whooshing as the camera pans around the stadium just makes these intros awesome and feel more epic.
Back when sports games were all about fun and not fancy graphics and complex gameplay.

Cleveland Indians was my favorite intro even though I'm not a fan of the team. If I were gonna sing the national anthem at a ballgame... That's how I would bring it home. Skip to 2:50.

The Toronto Skydome is nowadays called the Rogers Centre since Rogers acquired the property in 2005, and it still continues today...

This is an amazing amount of detail, especially for an old game. I wonder if there are any out-of-bounds glitches you could exploit for this game to make the streets/lots outside the stadium playable.
So many of those stadums are gone now.

My favorite intros are the Houston Astros, the Minnesota Twins, the Montreal Expos, the Seattle Mariners, and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

In my opinion, excluding the NC a a titles, the' 98 series of EA Sports games were the best.
My favorite MLB teams are the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos. They have the best introductions ever! They have their Canadian national anthem in English and in French.

The best intros in my opinions are Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, Indians, Orioles, Rangers, Red Sox, Royals, Tigers, Twins, Astros, Braves, Cardinals, Expos, Mets, Padres & Rockies.

The Baltimore O's stadium is Oriole Park at Camden Yards but due to Copyright it is called Baltimore Stadium in this game but not in Triple Play 97. How dumb of EA.

Still think Turner Field intro was best with the best timing. As a kid I also enjoyed Olympic Stadium bc it looked so cool but of course was unaware of all the issues it had lol.

Wow first team major blunder.. Anaham Angels? Anaheim Angels is more like it. Classic in game commentary and the sponsors in the games were funny. 2001 i believe todays game is brought to you by chork! not quite chicken,not quite pork. Chork.
