Greatest baseball video game intros ever. The way they used sound effects to give you the feel of flying over was spectacular and for 1997-1998 the graphics are quite compelling! As a Canadian, I’m so glad they had our national anthem in both English and French. I also noticed that depending on the city, the singers had a specific sound that represented that region. Texas, Atlanta and Houston all had country-style singers, Detroit had a Motown style singer and New York had an opera singer. San Diego seemed to me to have the most rousing national anthem. And man, do I miss the old Tiger Stadium!!

The Reds stadium may be called Cinergy Field in this game and officially before it was imploded, but it'll always be remembered as Riverfront Stadium. For some reason, it still holds a special place for me even though it was a cookie cutter that looked a cereal bowl with mold on the bottom

Not only that, the specific style of the anthem sung matches the city it’s in (i.e. O Canada in French for Montreal, a country-style version of the Star Spangled Banner for Texas and Houston, operatic style for the Yankees, etc.)

Cleveland Indians was my favorite intro even though I'm not a fan of the team. If I were gonna sing the national anthem at a ballgame... That's how I would bring it home. Skip to 2:50.
Dunno why, but the explosion sound at the start of the flybys and the whooshing as the camera pans around the stadium just makes these intros awesome and feel more epic.

This is an amazing amount of detail, especially for an old game. I wonder if there are any out-of-bounds glitches you could exploit for this game to make the streets/lots outside the stadium playable.
The Baltimore O's stadium is Oriole Park at Camden Yards but due to Copyright it is called Baltimore Stadium in this game but not in Triple Play 97. How dumb of EA.

Still think Turner Field intro was best with the best timing. As a kid I also enjoyed Olympic Stadium bc it looked so cool but of course was unaware of all the issues it had lol.

The best intros in my opinions are Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, Indians, Orioles, Rangers, Red Sox, Royals, Tigers, Twins, Astros, Braves, Cardinals, Expos, Mets, Padres & Rockies.

The Toronto Skydome is nowadays called the Rogers Centre since Rogers acquired the property in 2005, and it still continues today...
