@@JoshFromBefore Bizzaro and Red Sun seem to find their way into my shelf more than Infected, but they are all good. The Detective Comics Superman is still my favorite, and since I have 2 the single release and Devistator 2 pack I have a couple sets of hands, and heads but I don't like the one that came with the 2 pack
Todd spoke about the eyes and ab crunch on his interview with Shartimus, he will be dialing back the side eye, and if a figure can have an crunch and look cool he will do it, but he will sacrifice ab crunch for asthetics
Mad that I passed on this whole wave at Walmart the other day. Hopefully they are still there this weekend. After watching your video and seeing them all together they are now a must. Especially the Superman! Great content
5:07 I’m on the same boat, double jointed elbows aren’t a deal breaker for me as long as it makes sense with the characters design and proportion like this Superman or larger character like the hulk or devastator. It makes sense for it to be single jointed. Dope review man! I ended up liking this figure more than I thought. Just kinda thought he looked a little Jay Leno-ish lol
funny you mentioned about the quiality of the plastic on Superman's upper thighs. Mine came even worse but similar defection(from the 2 pack with armoured batman though). Very good observation and I follow you as you're objective and detail oriented. Keep up the great videos , Theo / UK
Actually my fav fig of the wave. I love the portrait, seem to be in the minority on that lol Bones found what I concur to be the exact panel the portrait’s based on, it’s a mid fight sequence where he’s bruised up. Maybe this would have made a better alternate head for the two-pack with some bruises but it’s just undeniably Miller. I don’t think I’ve seen a headswap that’s actually superior yet, just always more handsome which isn’t the source material at all. As for the figure itself I just love it. He’s HUGE, absolute beast of a Superman. The only real downside is the ab crunch, the sooner Todd standardizes a double barbell in the abdomen the better. Biceps cuts are missed because that’s what’s preventing his hands on hips pose really, but I agree double elbows aren’t needed on something this thick. They’re nice to have but I find the poses where you use them are limited and they obliterate the sculpt beyond anything you could call an elbow point. I also love the open hands, great for gesturing, and being bare flesh makes them usable on a ton of other figs like shooting lightning with Black Adam. I’m actually pretty upset the 2-pack doesn’t come with them.
I though he loked Chinese and didn't it hit me it was based on freehanded art and once I did and saw the wave together I like it the batman is probably my favorite batman and I'm looking forward to the jokerized bat and battle damaged in the collector's edition so I gave these a second shot
Totally agree about the fatigue. Really like some of the character choices from McFarlane but he hates muscles!!! He hates a superhero physique. Just can't bring myself to buy any more Superman and Batman figures with spindly arms and legs! These are a refreshing change
If you choose to hunt another one down, maybe you can just buy the Superman v. Armored Batman two pack? The Superman is the same, plus it gives you something new to review. Just an idea. Anyway, another great review, as always Josh 🤘
Damn. How you finding these at Walmart? I’m still waiting on my Gotham Knight figures that I ordered from McFarlane Toys. Great video. Keep them coming!
I read a complaint that his belt did not include red on his on his strap like the comic/animated cartoon. Yet no one forced this individual to buy it. Maybe buyers remorse but you can clearly see the figure in its box..
Wait a minute. You just said you like different articulation for different figures, then complained that the ab crunch isn’t as good as the future State wave. Which is it?
It fits in with the art but I hate the style. The bulky muscular body is fine with me but wish face was realistic. Mattel did the same body with different paint very often to be able to make it cheaper. It’s because they have stockholders to pay out and not like Mcfarlane being private. I only saw one or two of this wave and passed. I spent enough on endless winter and general zodd.
Just saw a bunch of these at Ross for $5.99, had to grab one! very cool fig 💪🏽😁👍🏽
Looks great. As far as the elbow goes, I think they just knew his bicep is so big it would be pointless to give him a double. Smart move.
Yeah I think it would just be more ugly cuts in the sculpt for very little payoff.
What an absolute standout figure, just like the batman, so cool
Maybe I am alone but I love the Bizzaro Superman
Bizarro is fantastic but he’s not quite as great as Infected imo, so he feels a little redundant.

I think that expression is supposed to represent when Superman gets punched in the face by Batman.

Thanks for watching!

Yep, finally got a copy of this one….completed my horse….
I love this wave lol

I picked up 2 of these figures at Target. Love this figure! For 25 bucks And a BAF piece is a Great Price!

I’ve been very happy with the mcfarlane stuff for the money it’s great and and they are all fun and different
Yep got him yesterday….love it
I passed on this Superman and Batman when it came out but it’s been growing on me to pick these guys up but I’m going to still wait maybe 😂
It looks great, but I think this is either when Bruce is dying or right after Clark got beat down.
This review changed my opinion.
I need him 😅
He’s pretty fun

This wave feels like the first officially licensed DKR products that acknowledge how dumb Frank makes shit look sometimes.
Sold ....But not due out in New Zealand till 30th of March if it arrives due to Current world silly ness
Red #on Superman is one of my favs. Where did you get the Tim drake robin? Thought not out yet.
Amazon
Same with mine. I really like it but the leg paint on mine is also scuffed or looks off for some reason.
You can do mods for better ab crunch and head movement, you really just need a exacto knife and a hair dryer

Great review, this wave is one of McFarlane’s best. Off topic, but where did you get the Arkham Asylum diorama piece in your display case ?
That’s from an animated series Batman vs Two Face 2 pack, I unboxed it during my 2k Subscriber video.
Okay, cool. I’ll check that video out, thanks.
What about the one that comes along with the armored Batman? Is it the same??
Are the hands of this figure compatible with the Action Comics 1000 Superman?
If you choose to hunt another one down, maybe you can just buy the Superman v. Armored Batman two pack? The Superman is the same, plus it gives you something new to review. Just an idea. Anyway, another great review, as always Josh 🤘
I was thinking the same thing, thanks for the suggestion Joe!
We need a dean cain Superman figure
My legs on that Superman look similar sadly:/
Damn. How you finding these at Walmart? I’m still waiting on my Gotham Knight figures that I ordered from McFarlane Toys. Great video. Keep them coming!
A little luck and lots of hunting!
what is the vehicle in the background?
The elbow thing doesn't bother me, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Single elbow seems almost inexcusable to me at this point.
What's that vehicle in the background?
Batmobeast! I have a review and another video about how I customized it on my channel
can the head be swapped with rebirth superman?
I read a complaint that his belt did not include red on his on his strap like the comic/animated cartoon. Yet no one forced this individual to buy it. Maybe buyers remorse but you can clearly see the figure in its box..
Is this a great figure?

Miss me with this pedantic bullshit bro
Bro they are all fucked when it comes to the plastic leeching from the figure you gotta give it a nice wash in hot water
