- Another fun comic fandub, this time with the help of a good friend of mine!
I asked him if he could voice the doorman since my mordecai voice, and the voice I would have used for the doorman would have been pretty hard to "disguise" the voice and differentiate it from Mordicai. So asked my friend to help, and it was his first time attempting to voice act. Was a fun first time attempting to direct.
if you haven't read the webcomic, GO READ IT! its a great read, with strong writing and impressive artwork!

3:30 this is stil my favourite part.😭😭
The little kiss 😭😭
I am honestly very impressed with these comic dubs.i would love to see more of them. Very excellent work. 👏
Love your voice for Mordecai!
Dude it was so fun doing this with you, thanks man we'll have to do it again! Great work as always!
You were doing a really great job! I like your voice
2:31 i need more of their dinamic
Some Nico! Love to see that!
Why was Mordecai just standing there, just watching poor Nico fight, not even attempting to help? That was pretty messed up!
@@Thunderfox32 I think Mordecai is not physically strong, and not just cause he has a small, thin body but I think he also isn't that skilled in hand in hand fighting like Viktor or Nico, who is boxer. That's why Mordecai's speciality is guns. And doesn't want to kill the jewel thief or hit Nico so it would make sense why he would let Nico handle the situation.
@@steppedmarlin8709 yeah that makes sense.
@@Thunderfox32 i mean if I see two big dudes aggressively fighting and im mordecai size, I'd be backing up instantly 😅
Phew, Brilliant. This is pure reality from the Roaring Twenties - reminds me of 'Scarface' (1931 version) , 'the Untouchables' and 'Public Enemy' - (either Cagney or Depp versions) And, frankly quite chilling. I'd grown more used to Mordecai the linguistic funny guy and a foil for Rocky or Viktor; seeing him like this, as an all too believable, totally cold killer is a whole new ball game.
Incidentally, W R Burnett didn't like Edward G Robinson's portrayal of 'Little Ceasar Rico', as he thought it made him seem gay. Never struck me like that, but does this clip suggest something similar about Mordecai, in the way he's sparring with the bar-hop? These strips are getting VERY adult in their content!
3:15 Wish he was a fellow lefty. Want dat 1911 too!
Okay, this is cool. Love to see more stories like this.
Your friend did a good job VAing for his first time!
This is my favorite part! Do you play Red Dead Redemption? If you're going to do Gracie again, can I suggest doing his voice like Arthur Morgan? That's what I like doing. Just a friendly suggestion.
(Also, "You will deliver Mr. Grombach and me to a more remote place." It's Mr. Grombach and I not Mr. Grombach and me...Mordecai! The guy who is supposed to be the master of vocabulary and epic speeches! LOL!)
That could be an interesting take. I haven't PLAYED Red Dead Redemption, but I've seen clips and heard Arthur's voice.
Wow
Nico blowing a kiss to Mordecai confirms that he’s gay/bi
Creo, que solo lo hiso para burlarse de él
This is the most infuriating kind of observation
@@christopherchartier3017 I agree.
What? Bro, you can't even make a joke or you're gay or bi. I genuinely hate this. The same thing happens when a character wears let's say pink or they share their grievances with another. That COMFIRMS they hold a certain sexual orientation.
Or, ya know, just likes to get Mordecai's goat.
