When i watch it, i could see pallets and timer, these can be extracted as well of a load of other stuff, these can be seperated and reused, timber can be used for generating heat, also it can be used as agricultural bedding, metal and verious plastics can be seperated, waste food can be liquidised and the methane extracted, the spent food and waste then can be dried out and used as furtiliser, also green waste can be composted, the prossed green waste producses high quality compost which can be reused by farmers, and house holds on there own land. Montgomery council need to understand that just compacting waste, does not sit well with enviroment policies, or the rest of the world, you need to start to separate waste, reuse waste, not just put it in land fill, this is dumb.

maybe if ye had a sorter and recycled more you have less going to land fill. all ye done was send everything to landfill in fewer trucks, that doesnt help that much. ye need to recycle more.
When calculating the savings of less truck trips, also, energy, consumed by the compactor, and how that energy was generated needs to be considered as well.
Unbelievable that they send all those recyclables to landfill!
if they who'd recycle they who'd have less trips to the landfill they who'd save more money in the long run

Looks like if you did two and half compactions you could you could fill the trucks and cut down on even more truck loads going out
