This is such a beautiful gift idea. And it's perfect for kids to! Thank you for sharing this video it was beautifully made and lovely to watch. I know me and my daughter will enjoy making these for our family this year.
Thank you so very much Carlie. I am so honoured that you liked the video. Dont hesitate to questions as you get into making them. Yes, These are a perfect gift and great project to do together with ...anyone. I really appreciate that you took time to comment.
this is genius! i remember my grandmother having a soap in a little face washer bag and i imagine this would fill the same purpose but prettier! i will definitely try this!
Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it. We've got Mother's Day coming up soon . Maybe you do to. These felted soaps are a great little gift to have around. And... I have something else that I've discovered.... Soap works really well as a bug/insect deterrent . When storing clothes, include some soap bars in the package and you wont get any problems with moths or silver fish or any insect annoyancers. Please get in touch if you have any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Hi and thank you for this good question. The coloured wool roving I am using has been properly and commercially dyed. This means that it has already been through hot water and multiple rinses. I have not come across wool that leaks dye except in home dying situations. Always good though, to take a little tiny bit of the wool, wet it and soap it and give it a good work out just to make sure. So... in my opinion only, most wool available for purchase , does not lose it's colour. But you raise a good point that in any project we should test a tiny bit of each type and colour of wool to see that it doesnt bleed colour during the felting process. Best wishes to you and yours, Christine

Thanks! How long do you felt to make sure the dye won't come off the wool?
