    Pattern (correct any mistakes)
    Start with magic circle, 6sc into that. Tighten the magic circle
    Slipstitch into the first stitch, chain 1
    Inc all around
    Slipstitch into next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc) all around
    Slipstitch into next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 2) all around
    Slipstitch into the next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 3) all around
    Slipstitch into the next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 4) all around
    Slipstitch into the next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 5) all around
    Slipstitch into the next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 6) all around
    Slipstitch into the next one, chain 1
    (Inc, sc in next 7) all around
    You might have spotted the pattern already, you can continue like this, adding 1sc each time or finish it here.
    Repeat the previous piece twice (top and a bottom)
    🩷
    For the body, just make 10 rows, the length of the outer row of your top
    Connect the top, bottom and body. Stuff before sewing shut.
    🩷
    Where you sewed the parts together, ch3, 8hdc (popcornstitch) in 1 stitch (14:50 if you'd like to see, 8 loops on hook and then pull your working yarn through)
    Skip 1 stitch, Slipstitch into the next. Ch3 and another popcorn stitch
    Repeat all around. Repeat on the bottom as well
    🍓
    Magic circle, ch 1, sc 3 and tighten the circle. Slipstitch into next stitch
    Row 2: chain 1, sc 1, Inc 1, sc 1, Slipstitch
    Row 3: ch 1, sc 2, Inc 1, Slipstitch (repeat all around)
    Row 4: ch 1, sc 3, Inc, slipstitch (repeat all around
    Row 5: sc all around
    Row 6: sc, dec, sc, dc all around

  • @OfficiallyFrilled
    @OfficiallyFrilled  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hello,
    If your cake is becoming a “floppy bowl” just make sure you are not making the ch 1 act as a stitch. The ch 1 is not a stitch in this case so sc in the first stitch. Also for a tighter more stiff cake like in the photo use a tad smaller hook. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching 🤍

    What if I want to make the cake bigger, what extra steps should I be doing?

    • @OfficiallyFrilled
      @OfficiallyFrilled  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi!
      To make the cake bigger just continue to increase rounds on the base and lid until you reach your desired width. Do the same for the height of the cake as well. Just continue crocheting rows until you reach your desired height.

    hii may i ask if theres another way to put the lid and the body together other than sewing it?

    • @OfficiallyFrilled
      @OfficiallyFrilled  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lana!
      So far, the only options I know are to sew the lids together (either one lid, or both bottom and top lid to the base)

    • @OfficiallyFrilled
      @OfficiallyFrilled  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can also crochet the lid onto the base as well ◡̈ by slip stitching!

      Hi Anna,
      For the lid I just used the crochet needle method. So you tie another piece yarn into either the top or bottom piece then sew into each stitch until you reach the last stitch then cut,secure your work and hide any loose ends!
