For them to do those dynamics and regulate the poer of their voice requires a lot, and I mean a lot of strength from their diaphragm..so that No birit(belting) challenge is really a challenge of a different sort for singers who are used to and are normally belting.Also, falsetto is different from dynamics coz falsetto is quite easier and just requires a lot of air..dynamics require a lot of control and strength on the diaphragm...Kudos to Morisette & Lani & Congrats to their concert..The Filipino song they sung is an Aegis song.and Aegis is known for belting so it's quite a challenge to sing that song in dynamics...

No one can do 'birit' at all...so both of them have to sing in a lower tone, singing this high tunes really on a different way, without belting it. So funny, they are squirming to sing this difficult songs to a low tone. Really amazing and super-talented artists!

Lani Misalucha and Regine Velasquez's career are somewhat in the same generation. Regine started sometime in the mid to late 80's and Lani started around the early 90's i think.
Regine started on TV in the early 80's by joining "Ang Bagong Kampeon" (The New Champion). Lani on the other hand came into the scene in 1993. In 2000, Asia's Nightngale Lani Bayot Misalucha became known as the "New Siren of the Strip" in Las Vegas, USA. Unlike Regine who was a wonderful product of amateur singing contests, Lani came from a musical family. Her father is an operatic tenor and her mother is a coloratura soprano. Lani is classically trained and is lyric coloratura with a vocal range of more than 4 octaves. She does, however has the prowess to venture into a dramatic coloratura soprano. Lani Misalucha and Regine Velasquez's career are somewhat in the same generation. Regine started sometime in the mid to late 80's and Lani started around the early 90's i think.
Regine started on TV in the early 80's by joining "Ang Bagong Kampeon" (The New Champion). Lani on the other hand came into the scene in 1993. In 2000, Asia's Nightngale Lani Bayot Misalucha became known as the "New Siren of the Strip" in Las Vegas, USA. Unlike Regine who was a wonderful product of amateur singing contests, Lani came from a musical family. Her father is an operatic tenor and her mother is a coloratura soprano. Lani is classically trained and is lyric coloratura with a vocal range of more than 4 octaves. She does, however has the prowess to venture into a dramatic coloratura soprano. Her sister, May Bayot is also a gifted singer. Lani is 46-years young and is a proud grandmother of four kids.

Lani Misalucha started her career as the voice behind multiplex cassette tape. She was never really a part of showbiz industry until one day, all of a sudden, she did a Duo concert with zha zha Padilla, who was already established at that time.
Lani was packaged as the singer who can rival with Regine. Forgive me to say, most female singers immediately prior to Regine were never close to her level, except for lea salonga. When Lani suddenly entered the scene, Regine got good competition. They gave her the title Asia's Nightingale in attempt to rival with Regine Velasquez who is known as Asia's songbird.
Lanis immediate rise to stardom can be attributed to her first manager, ronie genres who was Regine's manager until Regine separated with him. It was then when genares built Lanis career
