- Andraé Crouch whose full name is Andraé Edward Crouch was an American gospel singer, songwriter, arranger, record producer and pastor. He was born in San Francisco, California and died on January 8, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. He is widely regarded as “the father of modern gospel music” by contemporary Christian and gospel music professionals. Moreover, Andraé was known for his compositions such as “The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power”, “My Tribute (To God Be the Glory)” and “Soon and Very Soon”. He also contributed to the music of films such as The Color Purple and The Lion King, as well as the TV series, Amen. He received numerous awards and honors. You are correct, it is clickbait. I have been to Andrae's house more than once in Woodland Hills.
No only is this clickbait, although the history of his music is Googleable, Andre' loved sport cars and he drove a very nice high end cars ie Mercedes Benz BMW's back in his young day! He may have downsized later in life has his health begin to decline, but he lived large, as he should have!
