This was a great episode. I don't even listen to Ghastly. Just a great conversation. I would love discussion around the thoughts on the dynamic between people trying to become a professional creatives (sacrificing and pushing) and the business heads that run many of the labels, and how creatives view and think about the structure of the music industry and what are the positives and negatives around it.

Love this episode!! Way better conversation flow than the first one, Danny great job!! The one thing I disagree with was with the NotLo convo, she completely ripped the demo track and released it as her own. And it’s not the part that she rips the demo from someone else’s work and not give them credit…what bugs me the most is that Big labels release the track without checking its legitimacy and that after it came out they still defended her…like how many times have we seen or heard that an artist commits plagiarism and gets ripped into shreds by the community, gets cancelled sometimes and gets no support from label…they don’t even want be associated with it but it’s just ironic that NotLo gets a pass from this and we’re supposed to be ok with it…

its crazy about the dog thing because I live in Toronto, and so far there has been many middle eastern and asian cultures who scream at the site of my black lab and make a huge scene whenever I walk by them. A lot of people are scared of dogs due to them not being "haram/filthy an unsacred" or viewed as food to other cultures.

So Ghastly is saying he can pedal a dead e bike with 260 lb of extra weight (plus himself) through the desert for 16 miles? Massive cycling enthusiast here (mountain and road) and I'm gonna go ahead and say that's cap unless the dude has ultra mega thunder-thighs.
