I have been looking for this performance for YEARS now. Thank you. I was looking for this one and Truth Hurts performance from the same year at the Lady of Soul awards.
I used to be a part of the fan club on Arista, and one day this girl messaged me off there and came to find out she was Quierra's cousin, and we began to talk since I was from Baltimore, and one day they called me first. I was like, yeah, ok, and I hung up, and they called right back, and it was every single one of them. I was so excited, and they would call me randomly sometimes. Man, I love them
Yessss!! Great performance. They could have had so much success in the R&B/pop realm if they had better management. Their album has TONS of great single worthy songs! “Uh Uh, Uh Uh”, “That’s The Way We Do It, Pt2”, and “Message 2 U” ❤️ but the whole album is BOMB!!
Another woman's R&B group that got lost in the shuffle!... , they was really dope asf... and had that it factor. Jadakiss always coming with the bars, he never had a whack verse point blank period.....!
Really? I never really got into them but people kept requesting this performance. I didn't know if any of the other girls sang because it seems the one who's leading here is always singing. Lol
@anjelheaven lol, right. I was surprised they did an acapella because of the same reason, lol, but they were good. I was kinda a big fan back then so I distinctly remember. Lol
@@JamaalABivensI'm gonna have the full 3LW interview up sometime this week. They interviewed Naturi the next day so I'll have her response interview too. 😂
Loved Isyss. Nice group bad timing. The lead singer sang must of album including backgrounds. Rightfully so cause homegirl was blowing. Thank you for these great uploads! 😊
Thank you so much for uploading this! I been waiting for so long to see this performance again lol. Had it recorded on tape but that’s long gone somewhere
Can someone correct me if im wrong - was Isyss the last all black female singing group to release a CD that wasn't Destiny's Child (Destiny Fulfilled)?
After a couple of years and several people asking for this performance, it's finally uploaded. ❤Better late than never! 😆
Do you have the performances they did on Apollo?

I remember this. They sang the chorus of this acapella on the red carpet that year.

The Lead Sang Did That and The Rest of The Group and Keep Up The Good Work 🙌🏾
😮 Is there any footage of that ?
the lead singer always looked like Kyla Pratt to me. I think i remember this performance. Day & Night was a bop
Were you an Isyss fan?

Definitely had this recorded on VHS too 😂
omg thank you for uploading. I have this on tape somewhere and cannot find it
You're welcome, darling. 😉 Please like the video, if you haven't already, it helps pushes it into the algorithm.
Their album was fire. . But I hated the way the lead singer would sing through her nose.
@@TheeRoyalVirgo Lol

@@artismythingmedia Someone said Cherish was.
@@anjelheaven yup. They are right.
No Cherish was
Alidis version of Destiny child
😂😂
They were talented, had major backing, but girl groups never work- they can’t get along to stay together long enough to make any type of impact.
