Thank you for this powerful cover version that so well expresses how many people feel these days. Following along from Europe and even though what's happening does not yet impact us directly here in Europe, I know it eventually will and overall I am just feeling a lot of sadness about this hypocritical fascist being the leader of the free world now and how so many people are gonna suffer because of him... The original song was always a good song, but i now like your new version even better as its very on point for the current catastrophe. I can relate here in Australia too as we have a malignant Trump-fan wannabe waiting in our political wings for his chance to similarly wreck Australia and prey on the poor to even further enrich our own filthy rich, including himself. He even has his own Musk-lite billionaire on hand here, to finance his own push for totalitarian fascist control. Our dreaded next election is around May here, and sadly we have too many selfish sleeping-sheep here too who will believe his evil BS and vote him and his ever-increasingly fascist party back in.
