Ko Woorim has an unusual voice which is rich and deep and is a great asset to this already fabulous group of singers. The range is broader with the quartet with lots of variety of the tones and even growls that the singers can produce to make fantastic covers and starting to create their own. You asked for their names so I just thought I might as well give you a little background information along with it: 3:27 Cho Mingyu: He's the leader of the group and a classicaly trained operatic tenor leggiero from the Soul National University (the most renowned university in South Korea). Forestella has a beautiful friendship going on where they said they spent about 300 out of 365 days together, practicing, playing, hanging out, eating out together and so on. So of course they also arrange all of their performances as a group - Mingyu is, however, the most prominent strategist behind a lot of their musical decisions and very respected by the other members as a their in-group vocal mentor. 1:38 Ko Woorim: He's the youngest of the group and a classicaly trained operatic bass, also from Soul National University (Mingyu once said he actually saw Woorim on campus a few times but they never really talked before they both enrolled in "Phantom Singer 2", the show that made Forestella and that they won). During the show Woorim did have a tough time at first because he was really shy and insecure, getting a lot of criticism for his lack of emotional conviction and limited voice presence. However, Mingyu immediately loved the colour and tone of Woorim's voice upon hearing it and made it his mission to pair up with him and save the poor guy from getting eliminated. As a result, Woorim started getting compliments for his improvement, won more of his stages and became really attached to Mingyu. As another comment said, Woorim is getting married next month to the world record figure skater Kim Yuna. ❤ 4:49 Kang Hyungho: Well, you've already watched one of his solo performances so you know the guy that makes this extremely high note there. Hyungho was a chemical engineer before entering "Phantom Singer 2" and actually continued to work there while also competing in the show. All renditions by Forestella are EPIC! They re-arranged every song into their own style and make it as if the song is theirs. But the great thing is not only that they do it justice and perfectly, but also respectfully to the original song. Cho min-gyu (leader) is a classically trained tenor-leggero (rare vocal-range)). He, too, has already released a few titles and has his own performances with a varied repertoire. He is a highly talented artist with a brilliant voice and great charisma. He is characterized by intense, sensitive singing and expressive body language. They are a team of the best people in their fields. First of all, two people who graduated from Seoul National University's vocal department and won the best competitions in Korea. That means they have the outstanding skills in classical music. Kang Hyung-ho and Bae Doo-hoon, who have rock and popy vocalizations, were selected by Cho & Ko and became the current Forrestella. Yeah, this song wasn't one of my favorites too. I think this song is also very difficult to cover, but they did it again, their cover is different but equal to the original. "Forestella" has the ingenious ability, to give songs a completely different direction by changing the sound, the arrangement and in connection with the fantastic harmonies. Suddenly you are fascinated by music that wasn't interested before. The middle part with these gliding tones is just awesome and Ko-Woo-Rim`s voice tops everything. Add to that the "drama" and the fantastic show. Perfect as always.

Yes "Time in a bottle" is a great cover, and gives Ko WooRim's basso profundo voice room. (He has some solo songs out there... "Autumn Leaves" is 😍 and its... in French). There are some songs where he doesn't sing quite so low but still has a very deep manly voice. I would recommend, if you are on the journey, to leave "Je suis Malade" as a uild up to Reaction. It is truly beautiful and emotional... and for me Bae Doo-Hoon's song, for the emotion he puts over. "Hijo de la Luna" let's Kang Hyung-ho shine. And other Reactors have asked if Lady Gaga has seen THIS performance.
I'd like to recommend another song by Forestella. The name of the song is Champions(this song was originally from Worldcup 2002). I have not realized in the first place but people told they combined League Opening song too. You can see more of classical version too. I hope you like it!!

All renditions by Forestella are EPIC! They re-arranged every song into their own style and make it as if the song is theirs. But the great thing is not only that they do it justice and perfectly, but also respectfully to the original song.

He is a highly talented artist with a brilliant voice and great charisma. He is characterized by intense, sensitive singing and expressive body language. I recommend "Kill This Love" (Harry Potter) or the video "Balada para un loco" (Tango/Piazzola). Perfect performance - widely praised by Argentines - and that's saying something.

There's something that Cho Mingyu said to Ko Woo-rim in the Phantom Singer competition, "We need a new voice because we have similar classical voices." Kang Hyung-ho and Bae Doo-hoon, who have rock and popy vocalizations, were selected by Cho & Ko and became the current Forrestella.

One thing I miss about Korea is various weekly music shows. The quality of some music shows equal (if not exceeding) music award shows in the US.
Ko Woorim is the bass singer . He has a solo performance of Les Feuilles Mortes on TH-cam if you like him speaking french! Other members left to right are Kang Kyun Ho, Cho Mi Gyu, and Bae Do Hoon. This show( Immortal Songs 2 always has the best musical adaptations/arrangements.)

Yeah, this song wasn't one of my favorites too. I think this song is also very difficult to cover, but they did it again, their cover is different but equal to the original. "Forestella" has the ingenious ability, to give songs a completely different direction by changing the sound, the arrangement and in connection with the fantastic harmonies. Suddenly you are fascinated by music that wasn't interested before.
The middle part with these gliding tones is just awesome and Ko-Woo-Rim`s voice tops everything. Add to that the "drama" and the fantastic show. Perfect as always.

Yes "Time in a bottle" is a great cover, and gives Ko WooRim's basso profundo voice room. (He has some solo songs out there... "Autumn Leaves" is 😍 and its... in French). There are some songs where he doesn't sing quite so low but still has a very deep manly voice. I would recommend, if you are on the journey, to leave "Je suis Malade" as a uild up to Reaction. It is truly beautiful and emotional... and for me Bae Doo-Hoon's song, for the emotion he puts over. "Hijo de la Luna" let's Kang Hyung-ho shine. And other Reactors have asked if Lady Gaga has seen THIS performance.
I'd like to recommend another song by Forestella. The name of the song is Champions(this song was originally from Worldcup 2002). I have not realized in the first place but people told they combined League Opening song too. You can see more of classical version too. I hope you like it!!
