- In this Video I will show you how to unlock your ford door with a dead battery By using the hidden key inside the remote control and hidden door key hole
What if battery is dead and the key thing on door don't unlock it, because battery completely dead.
That’s the real problem, fortunately my car is also plug in. I will try to get a generator and charge it I hope this fix the problem and gain access to replace the battery

I had that issue, on my Escape, even if you can get the door handle with wire, it will not open door, finally, I used a long thick wire, bought an inflatable shim air bag for $18 at Home Depot, inserted between door from top of door, and reached the hood release, took about 20 minutes but was able to pop the hood, and then jump the battery for a minute, and then I could use the metal key or press unlock from key fob.

I have this same issue but no key in the fob

I tried it’s not opening is there a certain amount of times u twist the key and pull the knob
The key fob was changed but the key wasn’t changed

My key wont unlock the door i had to use the key hole also it wont start or dose the car make noise when i have the door open do you think someone put sugar in my gas tank???

I know this is late to reply but it might help someone...
This is the only way I know of and it's a hard one. It works for my ford fusion and may work for u:
1- insert the key 🗝 in the door handle (underneath it u see a slot where u can insert the key and push to the right ) to open that cover then u get access to open the door mechanically
2- get to the driver's seat and jump to the rear seats to fold down one of the rear seats to get access to the trunk
3- reach the "escape handle release " and pull it to open the trunk

Omg why did ford make it like that. Hell if I'm getting chased or robbed, I'm dead because I have to take shit apart from the key remote and the door. This just made me want to get rid of my 2014 🙄😑

Thank you for this video. All of the other tutorials were for the keys that had a button to deploy it. I never knew that a key was supposed to be on the inside and I had to go get my spare key to get into my car.

Wrong direction
Twist right to about 1:30 on the clock (almost quarter turn). It’s difficult to turn with a thick keyring on the key (you need a bit of leverage).
