ਸਾਵਣਿ ਸਰਸੀ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਿਉ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
sāvaṇi sarasī kāmaṇī charana kamala siu piāru
In Savan, that bride is happy who is in love with the lotus feet of her Husband Vaheguru.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਰਤਾ ਸਚ ਰੰਗਿ ਇਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
manu tanu ratā sacha raṅgi ikō nāmu adhāru
Her mind and body are imbued in the love of the true Vaheguru. Only Vaheguru’s Name is her support.
ਬਿਖਿਆ ਰੰਗ ਕੂੜਾਵਿਆ ਦਿਸਨਿ ਸਭੇ ਛਾਰੁ ॥
bikhiā raṅga kūṛāviā disani sabhē chhāru
She understands the pleasure of vices is false and sees everything as ash, i.e. destructible.
ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੂੰਦ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਪੀਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
hari ammrita būnda suhāvaṇī mili sādhū pīvaṇahāru
The drops of Amrit of Hari Vaheguru’s Name are beautiful to her. Meeting the Sadhus, she quaffs them.
ਵਣੁ ਤਿਣੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਥ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥
vaṇu tiṇu prabha saṅgi mauliā sammratha purakha apāru
The forests and grass (meadows) are blossomed with the Master Vaheguru’s consciousness. Vaheguru is all-powerful, all-pervading, and boundless.
ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਣੈ ਨੋ ਮਨੁ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਕਰਮਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
hari milaṇai nō manu lōchadā karami milāvaṇahāru
The mind longs to meet Hari Vaheguru, but through good deeds Vaheguru unites one with Himself.
ਜਿਨੀ ਸਖੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੰਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥
jinī sakhīē prabhu pāiā ha(n)u tina kai sada balihāra
Those friends (Sants) who have attained the Master Vaheguru - I am forever a sacrifice unto them.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
nānaka hari jī maiā kari sabadi savāraṇahāru
Sri Guru Ji says, when Hari Vaheguru Ji shows His mercy, He embellishes/bedecks one through the Guru’s teachings.
ਸਾਵਣੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਸੁਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰਿ ਹਾਰੁ ॥੬॥
sāvaṇu tinā suhāgaṇī jina rāma nāmu uri hāru .6.
Savan is beautiful to those whose hearts are adorned with the necklace of the Name of the all-pervading Vaheguru.
