    That is really cool how long do the flowers least?

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! We have some that we made 6 years ago and they are the same as the first day. We also have some that changed colour in a few days or weeks. Some flowers will last longer, you need to experiment :).

    😍😍😍 will these flowers rot tho?? If yes after how much time

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They will never rot, we have some made almost 10 years ago and they are almost the same as the first day. Some lost some colour but almost all are ok.

    • @ImpactDIY

      Thank you :). For this size I used about 30-40 grams of resin in 2 layers.

    You are the only DIY that uses a poxy resin for for dried flower photos. I don't think you need that extra step with all that mess & the daisy is messed up

    Great video! I have a question to ask. How long do u have to put the flowers in the book to make one?

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you, it depends on the flower, about 1 week is ok :)

    Do the flowers keep their color?

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have some made 8 years ago that look the same but some flowers will not keep their colour. You need to make tests to see what flowers will be the best.

      Low water content flowers work the best

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is the best to use plants with low water content. Also try to leave them for a week in a dark,very dry and hot place.

    This is so beautiful! Can you tell me the ratio of both the resin which is added?

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! The resin i use is 2:1 ratio but you need to check the mixing ratio on the resin that you use, it may be different.

    Hey what if you don't have resin?

    • @ImpactDIY
      @ImpactDIY  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This can also be made without resin, you can use 2 pieces of glass and put the pressed flowers between them. It is ok but with the resin the colours of the flower will last a lot longer.
