Next time do Universal Studios. It's the bomb. They keep updating it. You're in the movies. Nothing like it. I went again at 73. Splurge and get the guided tour. You're with a group. The guide gets you in and out of the rides through the back door. No wait. Buffet Breakfast and lunch. lunch.
I work in the film and tv industry and have to say whenever i worked on the backlot at universal (granted only the California one) i was always jealous of the people on the VIP tour. It looks fun.

Oh wow. I turn 30 in August 😂 I first went to Disney and Universal Studios for my 27th birthday with my Mom and we LOVED it. Regardless of it being hot and packed, it was worth it lol....We went back again in December 2022 around my brother's birthday. I'm considering going back this year again. You're gonna have so much fun ❤

I would cry at home while he was in the hospital and the only thing that would distract me was embroidering with your voice in the background. Thankfully he is fully recovered today. The first time I went to Disney (ever) I was in my mid 30s & I went to Disneyland with some work friends. I cried at the end of the night during the fireworks, looking at all the families made me emotional. Something about Disney evokes that.
Never been but always wanted to go. Going on solo trips takes courage to me because i've never done it. But i am so glad and happy to see enjoying yourself. It is so encouraging.

I did a lot of solo travel in my late 20’s and 30’s, also was a dog mom for years and eventually had my daughter at 37 (now she’s 6 and we travel together - next trip is Disney cruise during Halloween season)… being in my 40’s now, it just gets better girl. You stop giving a f%ck and accept more about yourself. Just live your life to the fullest, meet people but also continue to enjoy your own company (and those fur babies ❤).
I love doing Disney solo. I only did it once, and it was the best. I can do what I wanted and how I wanted. Epcot is my favorite and I also went in the low season.

I definitely relate to that little chat you had about doing something, hoping and praying that "the next time around" you'll be with that special person/family, and grappling with the fact that things don't always come to pass the way we want them too. I recently took a trip (it wasn't solo, it was with my family), but I remember that the LAST trip I took before that, I had been hoping and wishing that the next trip would be with that special someone so that I wouldn't have to go with my sister again lol. It didn't pan out that way, but I still had a great trip, regardless. We really do have to find peace with where our life is at right now.

Disney World is literally in my backyard. So glad you were able to enjoy EPCOT it's one of my favorites. I too always dreamed of taking my family there but as I have reached 55 that ship has sailed but I still enjoy Disney. Thank you for documenting your journey through the single life.

Oh I love Disney, especially Universal Studios. I went to Disney at 8 with my parents and again in College with some friends. And I plan on going again. Happy Belated. We're around the same age (I turned 39 this year). You look gorgeous.

Happy 40th! I definitely relate to that little chat you had about doing something, hoping and praying that "the next time around" you'll be with that special person/family, and grappling with the fact that things don't always come to pass the way we want them too. I recently took a trip (it wasn't solo, it was with my family), but I remember that the LAST trip I took before that, I had been hoping and wishing that the next trip would be with that special someone so that I wouldn't have to go with my sister again lol. It didn't pan out that way, but I still had a great trip, regardless. We really do have to find peace with where our life is at right now.

the windows! i remeber the last time my family went to disneyland in california maybe 3 years ago, as the park was closing and we were leaving, we took the time to watch each window diorama play out. i was fascinated even as a grown woman at theses little touches in the shop windows. so simple yet so fun

I took my daughter to Disney World for her 10th birthday last year. THE BEST TIME!!! However, 😆 Disney World solo sounds amazing. I can't even lie. Walking at your own pace, eating what you want, stopping when your feet are tired. Yes -- I now know what I'm doing when I drop her off at college in 7 years. 😆😆😆
I went to DW 3 times late last year solo (all 3 times). I live in the Orlando area. Haha had a great time. I do understand that disappointing feeling though. Happy Birthday lovely ❤

I have been to Disney World twice; Once with kids, and once without. The time I went with kids was NOT FUN. I went recently with just one other adult and had a blast! I believe Disney IS NOT for kids. It's kid fun for adults 😂
I’m finally catching up on this video. Happy Belated Birthday, this was really entertaining to watch. A great vlog. But you know it’s annoying when people exclaim when you are doing something alone. I’ll give that young girl a pass since she was 19, but my petty self found it rude to ask if you were having a good time. I know people may not mean anything by it, but still. Anyway, glad you WERE enjoying yourself. Probably impossible to have a bad time at Disney World anyway.
