I’ve watched this twice now and I’m still in awe. The realistic coloration, the attention to anatomical detail, the sheer ungodly number of wefts you plugged into that things head are legendary.
I kind of prefer seeing you transform the more basic materials into these awesome character creations tbh but the new materials and methods are looking very well all the same 👍
This is real art. We should always uphold all kind of art and do our utmost to always upgrade by practicing a lot. My art is drawing, but just wanna say that you're remarkably a great artist. Keep the nice work dude.
Rejzorlight That makes me very happy to hear! What a compliment. Unfortunately this is the only recorded song I have. But maybe Nick and I can collaborate on something again soon!
yep! First time with all of it! I decided it was time to take the plunge and buy everything to upgrade. The sum was.... extreme, but I had to do it at some point. I think I waited too long, in fact. I stretched that air dry clay to the limits of what it could do, in the extreme. I'm still fond of that stuff and will use it again, but this silicone is just fantastic! Solves so many problems. Thanks again, man!
@@LoreCraft sorry to be nosey, but I'm really curious as to the kindof problems it solved? I've just discovered your channel and your working process is really inspiring. Love your work in any material.
Yay fantastic beasts I have watched number the new one yesterday. This beast is so cool I have been waiting for you to do a fantastic beast sculpture and you put the fluffy hair it’s so cool well done 👍🏻 see ya in maybe the next video you make bye!! You are number 1!
Appreciate you saying that. Sometimes I falter. A couple of the last ones I wasn't happy with, but this new material should be interesting. Anxious to see what new things I can accomplish with it.
@@LoreCraft 'Failing' is apart of learning what works and what doesn't. I too am an artist but more graphic based (markers, pencils, paints) but i have an admiration for this type of work. Thanks for taking the time with these videos and honestly this sculpture in my opinion was perfectly executed with these new techniques.
Wow I am in awe of this amazing piece I saw first film love it and can't wait see second fantastic beasts film haven't seen it yet but love all creathers
I wondered what is this kind of silikon (?) you use after the first coating of the cast, the one the seemes to foam up? Great sculpting and Detailed work on everything you do by the way! So much effort you put into things like clothing and Hair!
Hey lorecraft this is Giancarlo i talked to you through messenger great job on this i think for christmas you should do stuff like the grinch or something
not dumb, but yes, you can. There are steps you can take to make it MORE re-usable too - you basically gotta just keep it clean, i.e. don't let bits of hair, dust, grit, foil, or whatever is around to get in it, and it's just fine to use again and again and again.
Love this! You really put such life into the sculpt, especially evident at 3:37. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of hair did you use to punch? I actually found your videos/channel through your Pennywise video with the synthetic wig. Wondering if hair for this one was sourced similar?
Man you have to make daredevil! but not charley cocs with the costume, the one from the end of the opening logos of the show. He is very simplified, looking over his sholder and has only one color (deep metallic red) and that way you can make a lot of them fast. Also the show has just been cancelled so i think the timing is perfect. Please, i need to see this!
The dreaded hair punching, it takes forever lol
This is a cool video

For the amount of effort you put into these amazing sculptures, you deserve more subscribers :D
Its probably because these videos are so incredibly fast, very few people could learn from them.
Bring it on!! I thought this was old ET at first XD
Same here lol
ET is quaking after seeing thst weave
So what do you guys think of the new materials and methods so far?
I kind of prefer seeing you transform the more basic materials into these awesome character creations tbh but the new materials and methods are looking very well all the same 👍

Thanks, Giancarlo. I'm so pleased to make some fantasy characters again. Was a lot of fun.
Deberías hacer todos los animales de la película!!
Ahora solo falta al Titán Colosal
Heath Ledger the Joker please do it
Es facinante✨
what clay do you use?
Heyyyy can u do drax? Form gaurdians of the galaxy?
This might be a stupid question, but are you able to reuse the clay after you've casted it?
not dumb, but yes, you can. There are steps you can take to make it MORE re-usable too - you basically gotta just keep it clean, i.e. don't let bits of hair, dust, grit, foil, or whatever is around to get in it, and it's just fine to use again and again and again.

Make Grindelwald pls
Make Emperor Palpatin or General Grievous from Star Wars please

I actually found your videos/channel through your Pennywise video with the synthetic wig. Wondering if hair for this one was sourced similar?
Yep, just wigs. I started using more human hair though in more recent work. The wigs are just fine for most things, and cheaper too.
