When I was in grade school I remember someone from Gideon's came to our public school and handed out pocket size New Testament bibles.It was my first bible and when I got home I started reading it immediately as I'm sure many school classmates did as well.I will be forever grateful for that gift because it sealed my faith in Jesus Christ.
When I got to middle school Greek and Roman mythology was part of the required course.I hated the teachings because it was not about The True God I already believed in and trusted.
