I felt that all the way from my thinning hair to my New Balance dad shoes.
It was all in French! There is usually a specific order in which you put things together or it won't work right. I'm usually the annoying reader of the instructions while hubby does the actual work. It got done and that's the important thing right? No more going up and down all those steps foe every little thing!

I'm only in my 30s and I've come to appreciate the quality and durability of their product over the competition.
So many of my previous shoes/trainers from other brands came apart in less than 2 years from use.
The NB ones I have now are over 5 years old and still going strong.
There's lots of us visual learners out there. The lift is awesome too.

The bees didn't get the memo that Dan planted garden for them. Time to move before he has to call bee removal again.

After all the buckets of mortar, planks of lumber and steels y'all have hauled up into that chateau by hand, that lift has got to feel like a gift from heaven! So glad you have it now.

Being an Australian bloke aged 69, I'm well aware of the damage the sun can to one's body. I have scars all over my back, shoulders, chest, face and head from the surgical removal of skin cancers. I have so many suture scars, like pale ladders, that I'm sure Frankenstein's creation would be jealous.
Boys, put on shirts and 50+ sunscreen! Skin cancer can and does KILL!

Well I'll be dipped! Dan finally got a motorized lift to bring the Lime up to the top without having to hand carry it up! This will help immensely. Good that Brian is back and helping out.

Wonderful addition to the very necessary tools!! The lift will save many hours of hard lugging up and down with mortar buckets and the stress and strain of Dan and the crew carrying them too. Well done that man!!!
wet burlap (sack cloth) with a tarp to shade it works better than cardboard and spraying it down (misting) a few times a day in hot weather. I think it is like a week per inch of mortar for curing time. The sack cloth can be washed and reused to wrap your trees in the winter to prevent damage from heavy snow on the evergreens. The cost of the sac cloth is a good investment. You have lots of lime work to do and you have lots of trees to wrap after. See you Tomorrow! Congrats on the elevator!!

I believe we will get to see another bee removal, I just hope he get to it before they get too established. It's easer to remove them when just moved in before they start to build, unlike the last time having to cut them out.

The lift is a huge improvement in labor, time and results. Wish you had it long time ago but glad you have it now.
OK, This has become part of my day officially, I get up and check the weather at your site so I know if you will be able to work much each day.. I LOVE IT (I am in Texas, USA)
And finally a proper materials lift and debris chute on the last few weeks of the project!
Last few weeks? He's got loads of work left to do. It' s not just the roof supplies he needs to get up there, he'll be repointing and re-building most of the wallsand the tower and will have to get bricks and shed loads of mortar up there as well as all the plasterboard, wood and insulation to dry line the walls and ceilings etc. He's got masses of work to do for the next few years before this place is finished.
You must be new.
He has the rear roof to go and eventually the Tower. The tiling will take weeks alone on these roofs.
Now that's a brilliant tool for your building... it's moving by leaps and bounds now. ? How does this mortar mix stack up for strength? Looks like a li.e mix.... the roofs journey step by step. We are all giddy with excitement 🎉❤

If you have a swarm of bees you should contact a local beekeeper. They will come and rescue the hive and give it a good home. Bees need to be protected.
Dan knows this. A year ago, he had a beekeeper come & remove some already that were in the bathroom floors in the chateau

Hi Dan, I'm really glad to hear that you are using copper for all the flashing and gutters. Zinc was good but the copper will age beautifully and add so much character to the Chateau. Mark & Scott
A construction elevator would have saved a ton of time!
