    the price is $80 as of today, which is absolutely ridiculous considering an ammo can is $20 at most and how easy it is to bend up a piece like that. That price is astronomical!

      So true......the price.

    That is NOT a "fifty millimeter" ammo can shown in the video here - it is actually what most people who know as a fifty caliber ammo can instead.

    Great idea! I can mount my batteries for my electric bicycle with these babies!!

    You can now buy an ammo can off of Amazon for $21.00 that is waterproof {tested in the bathtub} and has the hast that goes through the hole installed in it with which you can use any nice lock to secure its contents. (To remove the military text, just put some acetone (fingernail polish remover) on a cloth and rub vigorously)

    That is an awesome idea.

    Wish they would show how to mount on an atv rack, looks like it could use some more holes in the bottom tray for the atv rack.

    Wow, I like the idea......BUT the prices are just outrageous!!! There is now way in hell I'm going to pay $79.99 got an ammo can and bracket.

    Nice looking idea although one concern ... On the back of the can you have what you call the "Slip n Loop" ... It appears that you either screwed or riveted it in so obviously you made holes in the ammo can and therefore you breached the barrier.
    How water tight is that?
    I like the idea but it is a concern of mine.
    Looking forward to your reply.

      To keep the ammo can water tight, we recommend installing silicone and/or rubber washers with the fasteners.

    Nice product, but they are way to proud of them. Just one is cost prohibitive.

    Dosnt the rear low attatcment puncture the can?

    • @Swagoffroad
      @Swagoffroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct, the can is punctured when we install the footman loop. To keep the ammo can water tight, we recommend installing silicone and/or rubber washers with the fasteners.

    How do you stop the handle from rattling?, After building many projects in ammo cans, and carrying them in my vehicle, there it nothing more annoying than the constant clatter of ammo can handles.

    I'd like it more if it was welded together in the corners

  • @christoffer1973

    is the "can" include in the price?

  • @celticdude4686
    @celticdude4686 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice but you need to make it out of thick stainless steel and weld the corners.
    Aluminum is weak!
