I got one of these 4 tears ago and its great had it on the bumper of my jeep and now its in the bed of my truck behind the wheel well . never got anything wet at all i love it
the price is $80 as of today, which is absolutely ridiculous considering an ammo can is $20 at most and how easy it is to bend up a piece like that. That price is astronomical!
Nice looking idea although one concern ... On the back of the can you have what you call the "Slip n Loop" ... It appears that you either screwed or riveted it in so obviously you made holes in the ammo can and therefore you breached the barrier. How water tight is that? I like the idea but it is a concern of mine. Looking forward to your reply.
How do you stop the handle from rattling?, After building many projects in ammo cans, and carrying them in my vehicle, there it nothing more annoying than the constant clatter of ammo can handles.
You are correct, the can is punctured when we install the footman loop. To keep the ammo can water tight, we recommend installing silicone and/or rubber washers with the fasteners.
You can now buy an ammo can off of Amazon for $21.00 that is waterproof {tested in the bathtub} and has the hast that goes through the hole installed in it with which you can use any nice lock to secure its contents. (To remove the military text, just put some acetone (fingernail polish remover) on a cloth and rub vigorously)

So true......the price.
Quit yer bitchin! No one said you had to buy it. You don't like the price? Move along!
That is NOT a "fifty millimeter" ammo can shown in the video here - it is actually what most people who know as a fifty caliber ammo can instead.
That is an awesome idea.
Great idea! I can mount my batteries for my electric bicycle with these babies!!

Wish they would show how to mount on an atv rack, looks like it could use some more holes in the bottom tray for the atv rack.
Wow, I like the idea......BUT the prices are just outrageous!!! There is now way in hell I'm going to pay $79.99 got an ammo can and bracket.
Yup
Brilliant!!!
did he say it was made out of aluminum metal?? under weight that is just gonna warp and bend!
Clever design
Now how do you install it?

3m magnetic tape, as he said in the video
...and then the lock bangs away at the end of the box... :)
glue a magnet or magnetic tape on lock.
Dosnt the rear low attatcment puncture the can?

Nice product, but they are way to proud of them. Just one is cost prohibitive.
What kind of pin did he say? A 3/4 what?
is the "can" include in the price?
I'd like it more if it was welded together in the corners
Nice but you need to make it out of thick stainless steel and weld the corners.
Aluminum is weak!
That's pretty cool. Can you make one with wheels on it? **LMAO**
It's not 50mm, it's 50 cal.
$80 for an aluminum mount??!!! fuck that
its super cool but $80 for this is a bit rediculous.
Idea great, Price is a joke, a piece of metal like that 10 USD would be more than enough.
Dont use a can from rural king
50mm LOL.
Swagged out by Home Depot
These brackets are sooo overpriced it's unreal if u have a welder just make ur own
Not worth that much money.
