I know it seems counter-intuitive but when expressing pot odds as a *percentage* , you need to divide the cost of your call by the amount of the *final pot* (which includes the cost of your call). If you want to express the odds as a ratio on the other hand, then it's more as you suggest (cost of your call) : (cost of pot before your call). In this case the ratio would be: 44235 : 73375.
Did some crude math, think I did it correctly, if I'm off you let me know. For the call to be breakeven he needs to get there 37% of the time. As the graphic shows he has 36%, which would make it a good fold by a margin of 1%. However, that is with the exact hands they have, with the folded cards already taken into account. If we give both Mike and Linglin ranges of top2+ and 2 or 3 combo draws, Nick's odds drop down to 27%. Either way, a good fold.
yea I mean if you call there you're just gambling - which is ok sometimes depending on your risk tolerance. It's not like he was drawing dead by any means, but it was pretty clear what the other 2 had so I don't think you could blame anyone if they wanted to gamble for a huge payout and call

Not really. Was 10 k in the middle. He had 18. He would've been happy to push people off all the worse hands before they can realize. Not a very standard middle position continue with 3 5 suited. It's good this time. But that's not really a range.
