Can I ask a serious but perhaps silly question bro? I have Asian roots and because of that I have a soft spot for Grand Seiko.. I know I can get a Tudor black bay for the same money but the Seiko summons a lot of happy emotions towards the motherland, Anime, Asian cuisine, Asian culture etc. I was wondering if I am the only one who experiences this. 😅

That's a very interesting perspective - I never thought of it that way but perhaps I might subconsciously have this as well haha. Growing up in Asia, I was very much into Seiko and it always has a soft spot in my heart. I have really fond memories from early 2000 and onwards of seeing all the various Seiko models on display at the watch stores that I visited!
