    when i was in 9 th grade an older kid had an rd 350 with bassani chambers on it and everday after school he would wheelie back and forth across the sxhool parking lot . that was 1974 and i can still see it and smell it like it was yesterday. my memories of growing up in the 60’s and 70’s are worth more than anything money can buy . thx fellas for showing us another beautiful classic 2 stroke vike that truly was a game changer

    I had the brown 250 when I was fourteen. Great bike. Car pulled out in front of me at fifty. Not good. Lucky to be alive. Flew over the car, landed on the side of the road, broken bones, lots. Bike was actually rebuilt and I enjoyed it.

    My cousin bought one new,he loved that bike,pampered it,waxed it,then he let me drive it. I ripped through the gears front wheel skyward! He never let me ride it again...

    That was my first street bike I bought in the mid 80's, it was past its first flush of youth but it was awesome in town and it was a wheelie king, beautiful specimen with the right mods 11:50

      British racers call those vintage style "piss catchers." Shouldered alloy rims. Buchanan still sells them in several brands. Borrani, Excel, Akront. They are recent.

    Unfortunately when we were teenagers. A very good friends brother in-law. Turned his into a dirty bike bike, for my very good friend. It was a yellow gold one if I remembered right. And I knew better to get behind him when we road. Very sad to think about that bike today.

    I thought I just had cheap points. I have to adjust my 73 rd 350 about every 150 miles. I use a timing light now. Points and timing. 10 or 15 minutes tops.

    • @rigguyjt
      @rigguyjt 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I found a timing light at Home Depot that has a 2 stroke setting also can set degrees to “0”
