i'm a man of 59 years old who's been raised on such as Black Sabbath, Motorhead and the similar. Not inclined to too tender feelings,but...When i first listened to a song of Taylor Swift, something urged me to get to know her better.Out of a pure curiosity I listened to a few more of her songs and to my great surprise i realised i liked them all!!!As a result of my curious search I found out there was immaculate songwriter whose lyrics is a high class poetry.Well, I feel deep respect to her creativity and to her personality(after i studied her biography and some facts about her)..this song is simply marvelous!!!!
Imagine going to school with Taylor Swift and then she grows up into one of the most famous singers 😭 Edit: omfg I’ve never gotten so many likes before tysm 😭🥰
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The lyrics are simple, yet beautiful and poetic. I tend to listen songs from the 70' s and 80's, but regardless of your taste in music, you got to admit this young woman is an incredible composer.
When I realized the lyrics of her song "Red" that is when I realized she is a great composer. Her songs can be studied in future english classess hahahahahha
@@lunapam2447 "All too Well" is the song that clinched it for me...... Her ability to sneak past your emotional walls and then hit you upside the head is simply unparalleled......
Taylor, I have grown up with you. Thank you for inspiring so many young women around the world to embrace their selves and to live fearlessly. I love you:)
I miss these kind of songs from Taylor. I still love her new songs and how her music evolved but the old ones are some of the most raw storytelling, not minding what everybody has to say, just sharing her experiences, it's golden. Nostalgic. Been a fan before she was even famous. I remember just collecting some record clips .. before having a hard time finding her songs because only a few would upload it, and .. now.. she's a huge star and I'm happy for her ❤
This made me cry. Maybe because I never had a family like that. Never had a mother who was supportive or a father that showed me how a girl could be strong too. I do wonder too many times, who I could've been if I had a better home life and watching this just made me feel like I'm watching my past life or something. But after all these years I learnt that to be a parent you must also learn to understand your child not only guide them. Thanks Taylor, your songs are not only comfort but they're also lessons and stories that can make anyone's day better.
Same here. I believe Taylor’s upbringing in a warm, loving family contributes a lot to her success and humbleness. Also, Taylor Swift grew up in a family with money and that also plays a large factor.
Sitting here realizing that I was 20 years young when I first heard this song. I always cried listening to it then, because 1. I’m human and 2. I could personally relate to having great parents and siblings. And now I’m 33 years old listening to it again at 4:30am on a Friday morning. I’m now a new mom myself, actually cradling my 10 month old baby boy as I type this, and it suddenly takes on a whole new meaning for me 🥺❤️ Thank you so much, Taylor, for this truly beautiful and time-transcending songwriting.
It must've been so difficult for Taylor to re-record this song now knowing what her mother has been through and how even listening to "Soon You'll Get Better" made her so emotional :'(
The fact that Greedy men own the masters of this song that taylor wrote for HER MOM is so heartbreaking, but now we have Taylor's version, and balance has been restored for now. I LOVE THIS SONG
“I know you were on my side even when I was wrong. And I love you for giving me your eyes, for staying back and watching me shine” I cry all the time when I hear this
My daughter is getting married this year and I had to find a "Father Daughter Dance" song... I stumbled upon this... like some of the others I listened to, I teared up... I didn't cry despite the roll of tissue and so far, 3 wads of soaked tissue in! I love the pictures/videos of this piece and thank Taylor for sharing her memories - she's also my daughters favorite. She is truly one that's an open book for the world to see... and that takes some courage to do.
I cried. This is too pure. Could seem cheesy in a way, but who thinks to sing for their family? Who thinks to aknowledge happiness? I'm so happy this song exists.
This song is always so emotional for me. I hadn’t had an easy time in school with friends, socializing and stuff like that. But my mum was always there for me. When I cried after school and just wanted to quit everything, she was there for me. We went horse riding together or just drove around in the car or went shopping. She has always been there for me and I love her so much for that. This song fits perfectly and I’m always nearly crying while listening to this song. I love you mom.❤️
My mom is struggling with cancer. Its so hard to know that someone who loved me more than anyone in the world is suffering, and there isn’t anything I can do to help her. I used to listen to this song and send it to her, and we would both get all gushy. Thank you for making this.

@@parurushi Thanks for your kindness, dude...🥰🥰🥰 I know that this will pass, and i'm glad he's in the better place. But this song so much reminded me of him, just like how i remember he used to pick me up at school, and whenever had a bad day, he makes it soo much better...🥰
Condolence my fellow swiftie 😭❤️
@@jp3032 🥰🥰🥰
I'm so sorry for your loss I hope you're ok❤️❤️
In all of these videos young taylor is just living her life not knowing that she would become one of the most famous singers in the world
Yeah i am pretty sure she misses these moments, nowadays she can't even get out of her apartment for a moment without tons of camera flashes
I just saw this today on Mother's Day! And I am crying about how far I've gone here. Being a breadwinner and finding out my mom has cancer stage 4 is a very hard challenge but I hope I can cherish with her and what she deserved! I love you mama! :D Thank you for this beautiful song, Taylor! Since grade school, you the best!🥲 | Happy Mother's day to all!
OMGG I’m NOT ok. Who else is crying like a baby bc taylor OWNS fearless 😭😭😭😭
Don’t worry, your not alone!😭😭😭
I’m not crying. You are.
Yeah i am
Yessir
but i'm not the only one
Ya, its you 😂
Lol this song and (I cant remember the name of it rn but) the one that goes "don't you ever grow up, just stay this little" always make me tear up
This little girl had no idea she'd grow into the queen she is now, she had no idea she's save lives, she had no idea she'd be this big.
She did save my life. back in 2014. I thank Shake it off so much.
Jesus Christ, I can't listen to this song without crying because I first heard it in high school when I was suffering from bullying really bad, and it reminds me of my parents trying their hardest to cheer me. Such a masterpiece, Taylor has a way to reach people in such a meaningful way. I love this.
❤ soon we all get better with time
JESSICAJFERS you are LOVABLE and very strong .
POV: You can't hear Taylor's version of this song over your tears😭
I can't help my tears from fallingggg.
Taylor finally owns the song she wrote for her mama 💛
Knowing everything that's going on with Andrea I just know Taylor cried multiple times when trying to record this and that just makes me cry :'(
wait whats going on with her?
@@amberbailey8445 she has cancer
oh no. thats horrible hopefully she will be okay.
@hello is it me youre looking for since when did it come back?
@@liiiiiiiiiii16 i think it was 2018 or 2019, she made a track with dixie chicks (her mom's fave) titled Soon You'll Get Better dedicated for her mom
I'm 4 days away from graduating high school. Whenever I hear or even sing this song in my head, I can't help but cry. My mom is one of the most amazing people in my life and my cheerleader. Thank you so much mom for staying by me until the very end! 🥲🥰❤
I never listen to this song cause it makes me cry like a baby but i'm here to support Taylor's version
Sameee
I just watched it and I’m sat here crying like a baby, (I’m probably older than Taylor’s mum 😬)

"I will never change, but I'll never stay the same either."
- Taylor Swift
I swear I’m going to be a great mom like Taylor’s mom and raise my kids in a warm, loving, and supportive family.
Amen to that!
Same here!!! Amen to that.
This song helped to encourage me that I could break the cycle and be better than my mom was

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL STRONG AND LOVING MOTHER OUT THERE!! ❤ WE LOVE YOU
YESSS HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MOTHERS !!!!
To me, this shows why it’s so important for mothers to be in the photos and videos with their children & families. Too often, they’re the ones behind the camera & no-one else thinks to capture moments. At least, in my experience.
So true
thinking about all those swifties who became moms withIN these 13 years and now their kids are listening to this and dedicating to them I AM NOT CRYING
Yup I have a 13 year old and we have a fabulous relationship and Taylors songs are song regularly 😊
Pleasee😭🤚
It is actually so magical and emotional. This comment actually gave me Fearless vibes. Fairytale, magical and cozy.
I am 😭
This hits different when you know what Taylor's mom has been through

i'm a man of 59 years old who's been raised on such as Black Sabbath, Motorhead and the similar.
Imagine going to school with Taylor Swift and then she grows up into one of the most famous singers 😭
Edit: omfg I’ve never gotten so many likes before tysm 😭🥰
❤️
😭😭😭👌🏻💓
Imagine ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Abigail is typing...
imagine being her best friend and she wrote a song about you
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The lyrics are simple, yet beautiful and poetic. I tend to listen songs from the 70' s and 80's, but regardless of your taste in music, you got to admit this young woman is an incredible composer.
The best songwriter of her generation by a huge margin and one of the greatest of all time.....
I remember just collecting some record clips .. before having a hard time finding her songs because only a few would upload it, and .. now.. she's a huge star and I'm happy for her ❤
this is the song that inspired me to learn guitar :’)
Hi! It's nice to see you here! Hehe ❤️
Same miss tracy😭
Do you know how to play guitar now?
Sameee
untouchable and the best day. I remember singing this to my mother's birthday. 🥺❣️✨
Your words brake my heart.
Unconditional love, that's what kids have towards their parents. And we should return that without judgment.
wow how beautiful! Congrats on your new baby!
this is beautiful thank you for sharing

I was scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else felt this way too!
A beautiful tribute for her mum. Such a loving daughter

Anyone else teared up while watching this?
i’m literally bawling right now

WHY TF AM I SOBBING LIKE A LITTLE CHILD WHO HAD HIS BINKY TAKEN AWAY

same me too 🥺🥺💛
This is an awesome song for her mother ❤❤( Happy mothers day to all mothers in the world)
It must've been so difficult for Taylor to re-record this song now knowing what her mother has been through and how even listening to "Soon You'll Get Better" made her so emotional :'(
The fact that Greedy men own the masters of this song that taylor wrote for HER MOM is so heartbreaking, but now we have Taylor's version, and balance has been restored for now. I LOVE THIS SONG
“I know you were on my side even when I was wrong. And I love you for giving me your eyes, for staying back and watching me shine” I cry all the time when I hear this
Me too ☺
Saaaame! 🥺🥲
Unconditional love of mother to their child
A song for her mom obviously
Omg that’s my favorite favorite verse too! I cry every time. So sweet
3:26 AND "you were on my side even when i was wrong" 😭😭😭😭😭
This always hits hard😭
When you are sad, just remember there have been billions of years and you were able to live at the same time as this woman ❤❤
Am I the only one? Or does this song makes you cry as well?
Nope.
literally can’t stop crying
always
It made cry then and makes me cry even more now, because my mom passed away almost two years ago.
I am a puddle
She grew up so well, and you can see how her mom really taught her well, how can people just hate her without knowing her.
You made me cry!! 💔😭
My mom is struggling with cancer. Its so hard to know that someone who loved me more than anyone in the world is suffering, and there isn’t anything I can do to help her. I used to listen to this song and send it to her, and we would both get all gushy. Thank you for making this.
Mine too. Hurts man.
I became a mom 5 years ago and I am absolutely sobbing to this. Quite a different experience listening to this as a parent I must say.
Baby Taylor sleeping in her father's arms is the cutest picture I have ever seen of Taylor.
🤍 those personal video clips they inserted in the lyric videos are just EVERYTHING 🤍
