I use 12 dragons and 10 zap spells at TH9. It's a good composition, though it could be difficult when facing xbows. I like to the down the air defenses as quick as possible with the zap spells. I love dragons as a troop overall.
Use 6 lightning spell, 1 rage, 1 poison in your army. 1 Level-8 lightning spell from your CC along with 2 of your brewed level-6 lightning spell can take out level-8 Air Defense with ease. Poison spell would be crucial for fightning enemy clan castle and enemy queen, whichever scares you and makes your army vulnerable. 🙂Give it a try.
You guys should abuse the Earthquake spell with it, people called it "Zapquake Dragons". When there is two air defenses relative close to each other, you can hit both with 1 lvl 3 earthquake, then finish off each one with 3 lvl 6 zaps. It only takes 7 spaces, so you can use the other 2 for maybe rage and something on the clan castle

If the lightening spell is level 8, you need only 3 lightening spells to take out a th9 maxed air defence, u can use d remaining storage for haste or freeze

I have this base on my TH9 and upgraded to TH10 base, i move other buildings to fit. Still an anti 2 star base in TH10 lol
