I feel like dimash dosnt get enough credit for how much he practiced. It seems like people think he was just born able to do this, but he have practiced his entire life. It also helped that his mom is a sopranos singer.

He is able to do this whilst presenting phenomenal character, emotion and stage presence. I personally think his lower register is as impressive as his high register. He can sing so many genres of music, but each performance, he brings his unique emotive and vocal instrument, regardless of whether what language it is in. Such a unique musician!!!

Always love your reactions/explanations! Be they to Dimash or other artists I just really enjoy your attitude towards music and vocalists. I adore Dimash's voice, even when he changes pitch or register there is this continuation of tone that is specifically Dimash. The more you listen to him the more obvious that consistency becomes. Even when he's sung in bigger groups (even among 5 other singers singing in a classical way at one point) you can always clearly pick out his voice even when he's singing the same phrase as another singer. There is just something particular to his tone that stands out throughout his voice. Anyways, thanks again! The NYC Dec 2019 performance of Olympico/Ogni Pietra is my favourite one I think as they changed some of the choir back up singers lines and it just flowed beautifully.

Always love your reactions/explanations! Be they to Dimash or other artists I just really enjoy your attitude towards music and vocalists.
I adore Dimash's voice, even when he changes pitch or register there is this continuation of tone that is specifically Dimash. The more you listen to him the more obvious that consistency becomes. Even when he's sung in bigger groups (even among 5 other singers singing in a classical way at one point) you can always clearly pick out his voice even when he's singing the same phrase as another singer. There is just something particular to his tone that stands out throughout his voice.
Anyways, thanks again! The NYC Dec 2019 performance of Olympico/Ogni Pietra is my favourite one I think as they changed some of the choir back up singers lines and it just flowed beautifully.

I agree, that highest note is not whistle, it is a pure lyrical soprano vibrato tone. It's like he can zip up his vocal folds as he sings through his vocal registers. Amazing diaphragm and intercostal muscle breath support!
