I enjoy the chitchat and beauty every once in a while. And agree on the small channel comment. I am drawn to someone who enjoys fragrance for fragrance without the corruption of money influencing them. It comes through and the lose the sincerity. As for a perfume buddy, that is the dream. It’s not that I would want to talk about it often, but having a chance to converse about perfume and not be thought of as crazy or fanatical would be nice. Whatever you do, I’m here for it.

Not to be all up in your business but if you do want to take a more income approach to youtube. You will have to claim taxes if you make over $600/yr in ad sense so you might as well deduct your perfume purchases and get back like 25%of what you spent. Also Mercari generates 1099's too.

@bellaaldama468 It's an easy extra form for your taxes. Basically I was saying you have to claim that earned income this year venmo, mercari, Ebay all sorts of things is giving tax documents.
@@karil6461 How do I file it and use it for my taxes? Do I print it out and bring with me when I go file my taxes? Are the informations needed are already on it like a w-2 or do I have to fill in the blanks? How does it work exactly, because when I click onto the page it says what type of seller am I. Business or individual, when I click on business it says:1)sole proprietorship/ Single-member limited liability company
2)corporation
3) Limited liability company ( other than SMLLC)
4)Partnership
5)Trust
6)Estate
7)Other.
I love beauty/makeup content!! That was my first love and I almost started a makeup channel years ago. Are you kidding me you are absolutely beautiful with or without makeup! ❤❤ I did a lipstick swatch video last month and it had the lowest views of all my videos. Not that that's the most important thing, but it really made me think that's not what people want to see.. 🤔 🤷🏻♀️
Exactly, I think most people watch perfume videos for that only. I remember being hyperfocused on perfume and being so over beauty content. But I'm slowly getting back into beauty now. 😌
I also count my decants, because they are part of my repertoire. Going out fragrances I have as decants because I don't wear them often and when I do, I like to take them with me, for example on vacation or to get ready at a friends home. Same with christmas perfumes, mine are Jo Malone's Ginger Biscuit & Dior's Fève, only wear those a couple of times during christmas time.
Having dress up perfumes in decants only is an excellent idea! I never use much of mine and having large bottles just doesn't make sense. I also end up wearing so much more perfume on vacations!

I used to feel like that but I have worked since I was a child and I didn’t get to keep my hard earned money. My parents were very poor and a lot of children were hungry as we are a big family. I helped my parents throughout college and I stopped helping them when I got married. Then I got divorced and I ended up only with my wonderful and awesome girls. But I had no furniture and no clothes even my jewelry got stolen or lost. Now, I’ve been married 21 years with my second husband and my girls are adults now. I have three grandchildren and I enjoy them. I still work even though I have a chronic pain condition. I work hard for what I have so I don’t have any guilt of having perfumes all I have is thanks to God and to my hard work. I’m not monetized on TH-cam yet but I plan on doing it when I qualify.❤

I love to watch people do makeup while they talk. I always say if I start a perfume channel I would do my makeup while I talk about perfumes. I think it’s fun!

I definitely relate to what you are saying! I want my collection to be smaller (around 50 perfume bottles and decants). Right now I have 61 perfumes (hair perfumes, normal perfumes, decants, minis, FFMs). I also abide by the "if it's still in the house, it counts" rule. I have a box of perfumes that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them- decision paralysis 💀. I also want more perfume obsessed people around me!! The people I know that have an inkling of interest in perfume will talk to me about it for like 15 minutes and that's it 😞. I feel like it's easier to find more like-minded people in cities (more people duh but also more perfume stores).
Take your channel in any direction you want it to go, after all, it is YOUR channel. If you do it with enthusiasm and authenticity, the people will follow. Thanks for the video!!

Yes!! I truly appreciate seeing REAL faces too. It's just nerve wrecking to put yourself out there when most people are only putting their filtered selves. I constantly remind myself that social media is not real!

We ALL have to be more kind to ourself, but it actually helps quite a bit when girls, like you, do it 😘In real life, we all look a litlle different with clean faces.. And no one pays any notice..But on social media you HAVE to have flawless skin, biig red lips and fake eye lashes😅

Ok so I’m 2 minutes in and already this is reminding me of the videos where the makeup artist is doing her makeup and talking about horrific real life stories that have taken place, like murder mysteries and makeup. So doing your makeup and telling us what you’re using while talking about perfume seems like a pretty good idea since they’re both beauty related. And I’m here for it! I wanna know how you do your eye makeup! It’s always so stunning! (Maybe we can drag Rose into it too! I wanna watch her do the same. How do we tag her? I hope she doesn’t kill me with this suggestion. 😅)
Sarian Bailey is who I’m thinking of with makeup and murder mysteries. I feel she started it and then others started mimicking her. Which I’m totally here for. And I understand how you feel channels with both makeup and perfume channels feel more well rounded. 💕
I'm so glad you think it's a good idea. I was very afraid to deviate from perfume. But I think adding some beauty would be a bit more interesting 🤔
@@CarmenScentrix I think it’s an excellent idea and adds variety. There’s nothing wrong with bringing things that naturally go together. And sometimes you want to talk about stuff that others are asking about in the comments in a video, but it’s hard if it’s just limited to only perfumes. So I think it’s an excellent complement to your channel! 💕
