I mean, I think this game is an argument that they aren't bad per ce, just very niche. In their niche they do pretty well (like in positions where they get to abuse their range such as Dynasty gold).

How are Marines going to kite them, if they are forced to chase Tempests???

@uthermal can you make a forward pylon with a couple of batteries so your air units can kite back towards it and recharge shields every now and then? I feel like this would lead to increased salt :D

Sadly I think Carriers are worse than V-rays with Fluxveins. The Carriers seem to die faster than Tempest because of range and V-Rays are at least cheaper.

I just realised the single biggest buff to tempest might be to give Protoss a building they can float to a corner like Terran, like if the mothership counted as a building for example.
